People who want to be dead don’t (know they) have a reason to live. Jesus said the optimal state of being is having a reason to live (well… living that reason) — not that the optimal state of being was merely surviving. Wanting to be dead if you don’t have a reason to live actually proves Jesus correct.

Imagine thinking that death is going to end that lack, only to find …the reason for living. You could’ve found it while you were alive. Then all the troubles would have a meaningful frame that makes them at least able to be overcome.

Marriage has trouble… singleness has trouble… they both need the reason to live framing then… which will NOT be free of trouble (…the cross…)… so… neither will death/oblivion… that kind of “heaven” self-destructs and does not exist.

You can’t want not wanting anything — you have to WANT in order to want it (not wanting anything). That’s like knowing you don’t know anything.

If “nothing” is what you call “what is left before/after everything subject to time” — to say you know nothing is to say you know the being (God) subsuming everything subject to time. An empty vacuum doesn’t subsume jack squat. Yeah folks equivocate on nothing to avoid answering the most important true life or true death question. It ain’t, “Do you want a sammich?”

When you’re in oblivion, you are everything, but you’re no longer a sentient being.

You always have a soul, but you don’t need a mind to be a soul.

That depends on your definition of live and power. Jesus would agree that true power is perfected in weakness/vulnerability (dying to self). That some are incapable of a certain level of intimacy is why they never have access to that true power, which they consider false power… and never fully live. They exploit the vulnerable that they consider naïve. It’s a good thing we are counseled to be innocent as doves yet wise as serpents.

Oblivion seems to be your word for losing your mind. You are referring to god as “the one in power”. You are referring to the vacuum of power being filled by another god. Vacuums of power are often filled by people that deserve (who really ever deserves it? only those who serve are genuinely powerful) …it… even less than the last people/person.

It seems we’re dealing with a very volatile situation. But I already told you that. You’re not teaching me anything I didn’t already know.

The devil is already in eternal death. The devil hated this world. God doesn’t hate this world, but god wants to die. I’m currently thinking whether I want to be god or not. It’s not a difficult job, but I know oblivion is better.

what if instead of having categories of states of matter, or if in addition to this, we had levels of pressure

certain things respond (organize) differently under different levels of pressure — their states are not constant/essential to them — that neutralizes the matter/energy duality (matter being different levels of accreted/compressed energy)

and rather than taking the context into account, such as atmosphere, you just say what the pressure level is regardless of the context - if in fact it matters more what the pressure is (than the context) how a thing is going to behave under that pressure level— because perhaps under certain pressure levels you will have atmosphere in the right context of things to which pressure is important

why? only if things stay together/apart, or come together/apart (aka let go) depending on level of total pressure of itself and the surrounding other things

The surrounding other things may or may not have influence on it (& vice versa) if they are at a different level of [ blank ], kind of like a receiver only catches signals it is tuned to, but there can be interference — also kind of like how we can cause things to go beneath the radar — But is that always the consequence of a programmer (attentional manipulation — attunement) (is it true that using energy to store energy only happens under attentional manipulation?)

if you’re paying attention mindfully you are spending some of your potential energy— you are (your bandwidth is) starting to be spread too thin and

if you stop paying attention you are saving your potential energy— maybe you’re not paying as much attention because that particular area of attention has had a lot of use and is familiar with stuff so it’s like a heuristic or (aka) a programmed algorithm that happens automatically

refusing to pay attention also takes potential energy, and takes less attentional effort with practice or programming (when things take practice, it means they are programmed to take practice, and if they don’t, they are programmed abilities—neighborhood of talent, genius, etc)
