Where I do a lot of my summer writing or visit walking.

Your wish nearly came true… of putting my life in danger from big game animals, but I had to decline my acquaintance’s offer on phobia grounds.

Can’t remember which thread it was in, and I haven’t got time to search for it right now. 8-[

I nearly.had to go to.India last summer, just after the last bombing at Bodi Gaya, one of the grandchildren of the old man.I watch at night went on a school trip there, and pointed out the place was a terror nest of Hindu extremism, but she said she would be fine, cause she was going with a group of girls on a college tour… which I replied they have a habit of raping such tours, while robbing them blind, and she will get the shits.

Anyway, my fault she got into philosophy, I.was on standby to fly out and pay off some Maoist or hoodlum demanding ransom… luckily she got horribly sick and started shutting out of her mouth on a daily basis, so.came home, after getting robbed.

It was a very spiritual journey. Lucky she didn’t get.crushed to death in a pilgrim stampede.

So you would have been a glorified bodyguard? how very movie-Monday’s at Vue…

I think I’ll ask if there is any support work I can do from a safe distance over here… or maybe Paris or Rome or anywhere where there is no fatal wildlife. I would have took him up on his offer otherwise.

When you say shitting from her mouth… do you actually mean that poop came out of the wrong end? I’ve read that that can happen if one has been clogged up for weeks… forcing the backed-up poop out the wrong end.
:-&

I know you read about it, I’m the one who posted about that.

No, she just got horrifically sick, non-stop, despite being vaccinated and given meds. Happens even to the former Indians who come life here for a few years and return.

Zinnati thought I was being a racist or colonial minded ads when I said the only part of India I would consider actually living in would be in the North East in a old Hill Station. I don’t think he fully grasps that I’m from a temperate climate, like the British were from, and those little villages up on a hill are a climate oasis, that the houses are equipped to treat the water, and they generally have remnants of cuisine I could digest without shitting myself to death. It isn’t a case of cultural superiority, just the vegetarian curry lifestyle isn’t so vegetarian on the microscopic level, lots and lots of bacteria my body isn’t used to.

Honestly, a few tigers aren’t my concern. Your thinking Lions, and Tigers, and Bears, oh my! I’m thinking guys robbing me at gunpoint as I’m sweating to death, looking for a place to shit. They use cow shot as a disinfectant in that country, just rub it all over the place.

 Not a compelling or enticing place to visit then?

To let pride get in the way of the truth signifies immaturity. Surely a high cooking temperature would sort those pesky bacterium out? or maybe not

I can see this being an ad for their tourist board website… they’ll be flocking in their droves once it is up, lol.

Yeah… I ain’t going there, but not because of the robbers but because of the wildlife. Shouldn’t those fuckers be extinct by now

What, no tigers on your how island?

Tigers on an island in The Caribbean Sea off the coast of Central America? now let me see :-k

We have the obligatory turtles, swimming pigs, parrots, feral pigs, glowing insects, lizards, butterflies, mongoose etc. but no tigers I’m afraid  the biggest land animal is the iguana, and sea animal the pilot whale… being only outranked by the killer whale in the Oceanic Dolphin category.

The Royal College of Anaesthetists told me to do just that… when I rang them with my enquiry. Getting hold of the dermatology department that administered the local anaesthetic is proving difficult, but I will persevere and find out what went wrong/what they used… for avoidance of future mishaps, exacerbated chronic fatigue and overall demise.

Life goes on, but just more cautiously, and I’m back to being strict with my diet… after a lax few months in Summer that probably did me no favours.
