Horse, which is the only domestic animal of the five. (Deer seems to be partially-domesticated, so not sure).
(Please answer the poll – thanks.)
Answering the why kinda spoils it don’t it, you should take the pole first then ask for answers. I too believe that the Horse doesn’t belong because it is the only commonly domesticated animal in the bunch.
I voted moose. The moose cannot be found in Africa.
A
Wow – Mr. Ed leaDs by three lengths and the rest aren’t even out of the blocks!
Will another start to overtake him before he enters the first turn … or will this race be a runaway?
Deer is the only four letter word, all the others are five
Hmmm … I like your answer … … but do I like it enough to make it my choice? …
By the way, according to this, a moose is a deer! http://www.britannica.com/ebi/article-9273948. I didn’t know that.
I wonder if a moose could live in this forested area of North Africa … or if some have been imported there.
But that’s a good question regarding Mr. Ed – is there any type of horse that’s indigenous to Africa?
MaybE it doesn’t even matter.
But, from the author’s perspective, I don’t know for certain the answer to this quiz, so anyone’s guess is as good as mine.
Elands can have been domesticated.
CutE.
Does that mean that “eland” is your answer, or aRe you ruling eland out?
I’m saying that “horse” isn’t odd animal out merely becasue it’s been domesticated. Besides, I know people in Maine with a pet moose. And I suspect one guy of actually dating one.
It’s a particularly attractive moose, for the record.
Moose are solitary. Moose doesn’t belong.
Except for the two I mentioned.
I knew a woman who tried to eat one … she nearly choked to death on an antler.
We suggested she try a different dessert next time.
By the way, what is your answer to the poll (by actually voting in the poll)?
A zebra is the only striped animal. Also the only black and white one.
I don’t know … seems like I’ve herd of moose before.
Black stripes on a white body or
White stripes on a black body
So you’re the zebra voter!
Good answer …
… Except …
… What about black and white pinto horses? …
… And aren’t the eland’s horns striped? …
But I like the way you think.
The latter … and the differentiation process is a privates matter between zerbras.

Zebras are members of the equine family. Eland belong to the antelope family. Moose are deer.

Since eland is alone here, I would opt for that, except I have already voted for deer. Can I have two votes?
