I don’t use that shit. I apparently have a old account for the Honolulu Philosophy Group I never figured out how to update, and a very old account for a old Chinese friend I used as a messenging service. China blocks Facebook… do don’t ever use it. I also had another friend who insisted I Facebook friend… the SOB like, mutually friends every skank on the west coast, so my email is constantly flooded by his bizarre heavily tattooed womenfolk at raves and art exhibits. I wish I knew how to access that account so I could delete it. If I try though, it will suck me in and turn me into a Facebook Zombie.

I don’t even use messenger programs anymore. Don’t talk to my pen pals, or talk on my anything. Just a few websites I rotate out of occasionally. I don’t even talk on email that much anymore. Never give out my phone number. Never…

Just fuck it all. I don’t like people contacting me. If I need a friend, I will find you, but you shouldn’t try to find me.

And no, I will not play your stupid farm game and farm fake produce for gifting or trading.

I’m not into Facebook, Twitter, or any social media either. I just chit chat on forums and that is it.

I used to be on facebook I have never been on twitter but do sometimes read tweets
You cannot have real dialogue on twitter because of its character limitation which is
why it is so very good at conveying abuse. And is why I prefer forums to social media

I’m on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat, but I rarely use Twitter these days… too much effort/too much scrolling through to read posts = boring.

Facebook is a very useful networking tool.

Instagram is an instant hit of social activity.

Snapchat is soundbites of every move made.

Twitter needs to rethink their delivery of postings :laughing:

I do not buy that of which I do not need, but yes… in London, one is never more than half a km away from glitter.

I attend many important events that are solely on Facebook… so I’d say that’s pretty handy, no?

Only event worth visiting in the whole of the UK is The London Philosophy Group. If you don’t visit it, they you might as well rub glitter in your eyes.

I know several members of that group. I had quite a international contact list in the past for philosophy actually. Any philosopher, so long as they are not a academic. I dont think a mere professor qualifies.
