Heraclitus is my favorite. He is the most Daoist of them all, and Chinese philosophy is the basis from which I built my study in Western philosophy.
hows that

Here here - his fragments make up for almost all the bull shit since - I know I’ve recomended this before but Philosophy in the Tragic Age of the Greeks by Nietzsche is hard to beat on these guys - 6 or 7 pages on Thales alone!
Plus you’d read it in a couple of hours

I liked the philosophies of doctors… Still do.
medical and hospital doctors, or medical that assc. with ph.d. in philosophy?
I give Dao (as it pertains to metaphysics, not ethics) a sound definition upon which I formulate the basis of my understanding along the lines of Frege and the atomic formulae of first-order logic, which I extend into a tense framework.
Dao is “the collective passing of all conceivable phenomena from the past to the future.” In other words, Dao is Becoming, or as it would entail if it was put in a noun form away from a gerund, Change.

What is first order logic?

I understand how your system works. But I don’t understand how the system was made. This system of becoming.
My favorite preSocatic philosopher is Pythagoras. He recognized that music is mathematics with a voice. He was able to combine logic and creativity, something most philosophers have not done until Nietzsche.
