I think today is the election day in the US. I don’t vote, but I’m curious how you will vote (if you are American and plan to vote).
Relevant issues to consider:
National debt
Identity politics/transgenderism and racialism
Nuclear war
Finacial collapse and economic depression
Fake corporate news, media and censorship/deplatforming
Poison death jabs (“covid vaccines”) and lockdowns/mandates
Immigration
Rising crime
Possible balkanization/civil war
The “great reset”/agenda 2030
Apparently there are a decent number of people who write in “Mickey Mouse” into the ballot for elections. That brings to mind the idea that we should probably have a “None of the above” option. If we did I bet that option would win more often than not.
During May’s local Council Elections here, there were many ballots spoiled… then when Labour won many seats again, there were cries of “woe” and “why”.
The voters then figured out that perhaps they should have voted some Conservative candidates in, to get fairer scrutiny on the Councils… otherwise the Councils just continue to do what they want, and don’t do what they should be doing for their residents.
Complaining after the fact, can’t change any facts.

I was talking more about the balance of representation on Councils… as in, voters get what they vote for… so spoils/not voting, may not always be the best thing to do, when there is a lot at stake/a geo-economic crisis.
Right now, in America, it definitely is a Left v Right situation… though I’d say that the Dems had been infiltrated by the Liberals decades ago.
How to swap the current ‘party-affiliated’ system for a non-party one, is another issue altogether… Independents, working with a common goal, for its country’s citizens/a greater good.
As I like to say, the only people who don’t have a right to complain are those who voted for the current party/politicians in power.
Yes, corporate globalist neoliberalism has already eviscerated any of the spirit of the left that may have still existed in modern American politics.
Not that 99% of the Democrat voters would even know anything about that. They just keep blindly doing what the TV tells them to do. Really pathetic inheritance of the authentic Left with which they share almost nothing in common anymore, let alone with classical liberals (who are now mostly on the political right/New Right).
Not going to happen. Humanity is entranced/mesmerized/brainwashed by the neocon-neolib propaganda marketing of billion dollar corporations (CNN, MSNBC, Fox, BBC, NPR, etc)
…and that makes me unable to have an objective view, how?
If you noticed Peter, I gave an overview of the situation, not a blueprint on who and how to vote. If you don’t like others even talking about US politics, then perhaps a debate forum is not the place for you.
This is going to sound really stupid. But I would pay to take a survey on my positions on things to get matched up with a professional voter (or algorithm) who agrees with me on my positions (or more than one professional voter based on agreement of positions) and have them vote for me so I don’t have to research all the stuff. I err on the side of not voting when I don’t have time to research. Also the whole system feels corrupt so voting feels pointless, so erring on the side of not voting is not hard for me to do. But, if it was done via algorithm, the program is still only as unbiased as the ones who program it. So, basically blehhhh.
Yes, the entire system is so corrupt I also see no point in voting. I feel sad for people who vote and think they are making a difference or doing their civic duty. That would be true under normal conditions, but what we have going on right now is far from normal.
K: I seriously doubt it…
every single conservative voice here has been from outside the US…
from UR to Observe to Padro, to Magj, and a couple of others whose
names escape me right now…mostly Canadians…
You should know that I am never going to read or respond to you again. I have never, in all my years and many forums and social media, encountered someone as completely and absolutely fucking retarded as you.
Either you are a new specimen of human madness and depravity or you are a deliberate troll. Either way I don’t care. Feel free to respond to me in the future but you will not get any replies. I can feel the brain cancer seeping out of your posts.
I saw/heard that, on the BBC News… still a pivotal and important election… coz the sitting government sure threw all the controversial legislative-ammunition they could throw at it.
Peter Kropotkin: two non-Americans talking about voting in America…
sounds about right…
H: I am American, and I already said so. Do you not know how to read?
