I feel sorry for Bush because when he talked about appeasement recently in the Israeli parliament he didn’t know what he was talking about. Also, he was sounding like yesterday’s dinner because he was using an old argument that lost its punch long ago. He believes that if you talk to your enemy in order to seek a solution you are appeasing them. That is silly because America has often talked to its enemies without appeasing them, like it did with Iraq before kicking it out of Kuwait in 1991.
With his appeasement talk it just goes to show you that neocons like Bush have no new ideas.
I also feel sorry for Bush (I don’t really) because when he is no longer President nobody will hire him to give talks like they have with past presidents because he will have no good advise for anybody, unless it’s advise about how to be a lousy administrator, ruin an economy, make people dislike America or how to turn surpluses into deficits. I fear (not really) Bush will go into a state of depression after he leaves office because he will no longer be the “decider” and nobody will pay any attention to him.
At the same time, it is unfair how he is under constant media surveillance while he is public, and everyone makes mistakes on a daily basis, and the media puts all of his normal mistakes into a montage. Gives people the impression he’s dumber than he probably is.
At the same time, he gets filthy rich off of the corporations that tell him what to do. He’s the middleman in the most nefarious of all trade-offs.
I pity anyone who is a puppet, even a willing one or a wealthy one. I do feel sorry for Bush because, his parents have the money and yet did not use it to get Bushbaby into speech therapy. The dude stammers far too much. Its either he can’t handle the lies or he has a real speech problem, either way mommy and daddy should have spent some of their billions fixing it.
