Why all the hate against the bourgeois?

People hate them because those people are losers. A winner would study those who are more prosperous and try and learn something. I think that the broken down proletariat’s ego is his biggest enemy.

In the United States, at least, we have a bourgeois class in place of the aristocracy. The working class will always resent those that have greater success with less work. Perhaps some of that contempt is well-deserved.

That is so fucking ignorant, give me a break… if you believe it’s all about meritocracy you have to have your head up your ass.

If we killed everyone EXCEPT for the rich people, I’d PAY for front row tickets to put all the rich spoiled people on an island together, and see how the pecking order would work out without all of US.

There money has no value without us, all rich people are no better then you or me. If bill gates was born in russia instead of the states, do you think he would be where he is today?

Fate has half a role in who you become and your place in life.

Er, since the glasnost/peristroica thing: there are more Russian billionaires than anywhere else in the world, and a lot of them have relocated to London - they’re actually quite dull, and show their wealth through being ostentatious and flamboyant

Their money cannot seem to buy them the status they seem to crave, but the few that are actual entrepreneurs: get to rub shoulders with the do-ers.

Look, they couldn’t be billionaires without a supporting population, if we kill everyone except the billionaires, do you think they’d be able to survive? No.

Look, the money system we use is flawe… if some guy comes up with a widget everyone wants, he gains enormous political power because there is NO LIMIT on how much wealth you can acquire, this is why our world is so fucked up… in the ancient world they would kill people who gained too much property/land.

You SHARE the earth with other living things, and when someone becomes too powerful, you hope that their own class puts pressure on them, or you have to kill the motherfuckers. I certainly don’t believe billionaires are smarter then everyone else… they just happened to make something people want or like to use… People are animals.

You’re ability is the result of chance and genetics, if you were born autistic, I really doubt you’d be saying “it’s all a meritocracy”, it’s a farce. I don’t believe people deserve to be put down, they all are human beings that should have the same rights and priveledges to a normal comfortable life rich people have.

Modern westerners have to be some of the stupidest people in history allowing small families and a handful of corporations such enormous control over their land and their lives.

Haven’t small groups of people always controlled the majority of the wealth? I don’t think that’s exclusive to the “modern west”. The point that I was trying to make was that if you’re feeling like a wage slave, rather than to bitch about it and suffer because of your own morals, simply pay attention to what it is that makes you different from those who have more. Then try and be like them. Screw the huddled masses. You wanna get out of that scene.

Most of the Russians and most of the wealthiest families around the world built their empires on corruption, and then ‘go straight’ and try and hang-out with the bourgeoisie, aristos, and royals…

The more entrepreneurial out of them succeeds: as they have something viable/non-illegal to offer.

You selling? they be buying

To say that rich people aren’t better than nonrich people is a blanket statement. Some rich people are rich because their geniuses and provideed us with ingenius inventions/service. Some rich people are idiots that just got lucky or played dirty.

My point is, … if people controlled their own energy resources (food, electricity, housing, etc)

Rich people wouldn’t exist, rich people are an artifact of a struggle for power over limited resources, not because capitalism is some meritocratic heaven.

The fact is, if we all had our own planet, and the ABILITY to be self-sustaining , employers would have no control over the political process, but because we rely on each others expertise because we can’t do it all, this creates a class base system that just falls out of particular configuration of of matter and energy, of both people and the environment…

If I was a demi-god like being, who could wipe out the earth at the snap of my fingers and I was born that way, do you think that was “meritocratic” and I deserve to rule the earth with an iron fist for being born that way?

People that support the very bourgois rich (I’m not talking about normal everyday people)… are the same people who, if they ever got hurt in a car accident or brain damage, would scream about how everyone now neglects them.

Everyone’s egotistical until they lose power, once you lose power, then you will start to see the reasoning behind not being an extremist for any idealogy.

I make it a commitment in my life ot understand the MECHANICS of how something works, most people only have vague notions of “capitalism” or idealogies work in their heads, they don’t observe how economies and people function, our knowledge, ability and intelligence as a race is not very good and our entire world economies and politics reflect that.

We’re still a race of barbarians, it’s 2007 and we’ve had millions of years to eradicate war and poverty… so it seems like on the whole mankind is to put it in a metaphor: A weak minded ape.

Im suprised joker isnt in on this yet.
But, you cant blame the rich for what you put yourself through, I suppose you could but that would be a little ingnorant.

The difference is this:

The Proletariat

The Bourgeois

If I say I hate the rich, most would assume its because I’m jealous. But jealous of what? You die anyway, no matter how much you accumulate in your lifetime. There’s no escaping that fact.

I hate the rich because planet earth is a miserable place and those with money make the decisions that cause it to be so. Happiness is fleeting. Love isn’t real. And no amount of money can change that. What do you all want money for, outside of food and shelter. So what, you can gain access to places full of fake people.

So much of fate dictates your place in society.

This may be overly stupid and idealistic, but why do we we need leaders if life were just about food and shelter. Yeah, it’d be boring, but a lot less complex.

As for the best edcuation, I feel that’s like saying the best brainwashed. Boy, I really am a negative bastard tonight, spewing negativity.

You are spouting a half-truth, and not even a half-truth, it is a very small truth, entreprenuers are frequently con-artists, that take genuine ideas and inventions and steal others. In the real world of business fraud is rampant, there is a thin line between an honest business man, and another business man that is a crook.

I know I’ve WORKED in the industry, and you would kill people if you knew of all the insider trading and rub-rub that goes on. We have a permanent overclass and it’s not going to go away.

The more “entrepreneurial” is only a half truth at best, and a small pebble of truth at worst. Because of USURY and loans, please don’t tell me banks making interest on loans are creating VALUE or enhancing society they are gambling with their money and are basically fucking leeches.

The whole concept of investment for interest is predatory, has a usary like quality to it and therefore a parasitic loophole but it is complicated, because our minds are too small to pack in all the information and relationships over a given period of time.

Also our conception of ownership is totally flawed to begin with, it is so basic and has so many loopholes that is why the world is so fucked up – man kind is too stupid and doesn’t live long enough.

Hi superculture. You said; ”Now, who do you want leading the world? Joe-schmoe, or somebody with the best education money has to offer, etc.?”

Doesn’t this statement tend to undermine your thesis about money? Or, are you arguing that Joe-Schmoe is best suited to lead the world?

You said; ”Fate has half a role in who you become and your place in life.”

Can fate function partially? Isn’t fate an all or nothing proposition? If fate only plays half a role in what we become, what plays the other half? Please share your thoughts on how fate operates in the manner you suggest and more importantly; what events trigger fate to surface and then retreat when presented with the other half. Passion
