i raise this topic because at the moment i have two people whom i’ve never done anything to (not that was unjustified anyway) who want to kill me. there’s this one stoner/acid head/drunk kinda kid at my high school who i really haven’t done a single thing to but he decided at one point that he’s gonna focus on my and kill me if he gets the chance. lucky i have violent friends, and lots of them. then last night another kid about killed me because i flipped him off when he almost ran me over in a parking lot. so why are people such dickheads?

…because you’re in high school. It will get exponentially better whe you’re not around children. Then it will all be a memory and an occasional nightmare. (…yes, you will be haunted by dreams of high school 10 plus years after it’s over and done with!)
creation imperfect, if you are not violent from your side nor abusive to these guys who seem to bully you then I’d say that these guys are bullies and get a kick out of all that they do. One should also remember and understand that a bully bullies, usually because someone else (not you) has bullied him before which is the reason he’s where he is. Don’t let these bullies get the impression that they can get away with doing whatever they want to you, and you’ll be fine. Personally, I don’t believe that anybody decides to become a ‘dickhead,’ his circumstances have brought him there but that does not mean that you have to tolerate their nonsense, you don’t. So show them that you will not tolerate their nonsense and they will stop bothering you, otherwise they might continue.

when you say kill do you mean kill , or beat up. if they realy want to murder you you should go to the police. school is a wonderfull place for cultavating asshole egos. if you want this to be over i wouldnt involve your freinds (unless its pure protection)…it will only prolong the ordeal. and eventually they will get you or one of your freinds alone. its rarely over after kicking ass once. about 6 monthts ago i was walking home after skateboarding by myself, on the other side of the street i over heard these gangsta lookin high schoolers talking about how the wanted to fuck some kid up…they spotted me walking by. and said “yo keep walking bitchkjn.” i ignored them and kept walking…then i heard some one run up behind me, i just kept walking , then when i sensed he was right be hind me i slowly turned my head around “BAM” to be met by a fake gangsta fist right in the nose. by the time i could get my brain to work again he was on the other side of the street with his freinds. I also have alot of realy strong freinds, theyre rational not violent, but when they heard this they wanted to whoop major ass. i knew where they lived…but forbid it. sure it woud have felt nice but it would have kept going on and on. nothing has happend since. just remember nothing that they do to you will ever put you in as much pain as theyre in. you only see them at school and around town, they might not look depressed , but they are. just immagin the kind of christmases those dudes must have, or the kind of family vacations (if any)…theyre in a nightmare already, you dont need to kick there ass.

galacticheart: the kid in the parking lot, i mean kill as in beat up. the acid head, i’m not sure if he wants to beat me up or actually kill me. but i’m fairly sure he WON’T kill me, even if he tries to, because i carry a knife in my car.

Acid head? I think maybe you need to be less ignroant. You say you have never done anything to this person(s), i assume that you probably don’t know this person(s) very well but there you are calling him/her ‘acid head’. If one drinks, does this mean he is an alcoholic?

he was on acid the night i met him. all his friends told me so because they thought it would exonerate him of his actions (i.e. being a dick). i assume they weren’t lying. he acted like he was on acid. since then (two weeks ago) they have told me no less than 3 times that he was on acid at school. he’s an acid head.
One who drinks is just a drinker. Alcoholics attend meetings. 
More seriously, alcoholics are those who continue to use alcohol despite mounting consequences. They have a disease called addiction. Their brain is broken. Their drive-to-survive becomes entangled with their desire to drink. They are biologically compelled to drink. Their brain sends them signals that indicate that if they don’t drink then they will die. These signals are incorrect, but still very powerful.
A genetic predisposition can greatly increase the probability for an individual to become an alcoholic.
What starts an individual on the path of addiction is usually difficulty in dealing with overwhelming emotions. Substances give them a way to self-medicate, but this is not treatment, this is avoidance. The troublesome emotions always remain. So when they come down off the effects of their substance they are unhealed. Instead of doing the difficult work of dealing with those emotions the addict goes back to the substance to escape from them again and again.
Creation Imperfect, you mentioned in another thread something about you being the only one here in the forum who never used drugs. It does sound like you’re being a bit judgemental, and really you can’t believe everything people say about one another without proof. People used to think I was on drugs when I was completely sober just because of the things I would say, because I wasn’t like them, because I might have too much energy or laugh a little too loud. I didn’t like that they would jump to a conclusion like that. I don’t know this person that you’re talking about, so I really can’t say either way.
Do you have something against people who use drugs? I haven’t read everything on this thread, but it’s all just so juvenile- “violent friendsâ€, beating people up/ “killingâ€, judgments and hearsay. God I’m glad I never have to go back to high school! …well unless I end up in an 80’s movie with either Kirk Cameron, Dudley Moore, Fred Savage or Judge Reinhold… or maybe that sucky movie Jamie Lee Curtis was in recently. Speaking of rumors, has anyone heard the one about her being born a man and having it surgically removed?

i’m going to answer all these questions and comments randomly. i understand jim morrison did a lot of drugs and i don’t like that about him, but i do like a lot of the philosophy-related things he did. i do know how to use a knife and i hate guns. i probably am judgemental toward people who use drugs though i try not to be towards anyone. can’t help it. i’m not gonna be a DARE rent-a-cop when i grow up, i just think drugs are pointless and stupid. then again, i have a slight fear of being unobservant, so i’ll never use them.
No, no, no. The only enlightening vision Morrison ever saw was the front end of a mace canister held by a police man. He was a drama school drop-out that continued his act well afterwards, blaming his erratic behavior on Dionysus and LSD. Pffft. If he wasn’t drunk and singing out of key, he was crawling through a puddle of his own vomit on stage. He was a good poet, thats about it. Other than that he was a gimmick that attracted the crowd to the Door’s music. Ray, the brains behind the operation, gets all the credit. Robby wrote “light my fire” anyway, the song that opened the door for them. Jim was just “there” looking all sexy. He wouldn’t last five minutes in my band.

Yes, and I might add that when approaching your opponent, don’t face him. Stand with your side toward him. If you are right handed, face him with your left side. Also, don’t rear the pipe up like a baseball bat. Your response time will be slower. Hold it like a staff in front of you at an angle, giving you the option of both a thrust and a swing.

not that there is something wrong with everybody who does that stuff, i’ve been there and done all that… but some of those people can get kinda crazy and sometimes are not the most rational.
