Neoliberalism’s answer to racism and sexism was massive censorship along with threatening people’s livelihoods in a sort of organized targeted campaign. Of course censoring away debate or argument has utterly solved nothing at all and has only shown how pathetically weak the neoliberal position is regarding both subjects.

The Old Testament records God telling them he didn’t choose them because they were special. They weren’t righteous. They weren’t strong. That’s why they constantly fell into slavery and exile. God is always choosing what you think isn’t going to be important to show you what really matters. and we historically keep missing the point.

I don’t ‘believe’ in anything. Never have. I have no reason to study their ancient books. What matters is the people they are today. Decent, productive, intelligent, charming people.
