Reality blocks these things but why ? I want to change these things so they should change when I want them to.
Because.
Perhaps you don’t feel you deserve to change these things and reality can’t override your sense of reality, guilt, deserving, etc.
I downvoted because you are saying this belief that I have total control over reality which is not true believing something does not change anything.
No downvoting, I don’t think. No consequences.
That said. Beliefs are not just conscious and beliefs are not easy to change. Try it. Spend an afternoon trying to change one of your beliefs. We all have a lot of work to do, though I think the process is indirect.

Well said. Thats one of the most fun exercises.
Trying to change a core value inside of yourself on a whim and then realizing that you are pulling on an entire house of cards.
Or whats worse you succeed with it and realize after the fact that you just turned your own internal value system incoherent and non-causal, undermining the foundations for your own identity.
Now that one is a very special kind of fun. A once in thousand lifetimes type.
