The only way this thread might survive is if we all add a one liner on why each person loves philosophy-- an encomium to philosophy.
So here i go:
Because it’s my medicine when I have a sick soul, for the doctor can’t minister to a mind diseased.
I was miserble before I discovered philosophy, The Story of Socrates intrigued me and that lead me to philosophy and philosophy has allowed me to see and understand everything with a clearer mind.
