Why I Support Global Warming

There’s uncertainty, yes… But it works both ways. It may be less bad than we think, it may be a whole lot worse.
Global represents a massive risk and we know that we’re contributing to it, although the mechanisms involved all not all figured out yet.
No doubt, serious investment into reduction of the rate of change will repay itself many times in the future…

While I am very sympathetic towards that argument, it does smack of Pascal’s wager. I don’t accept that argument for God, so why should I accept it for Global Warming?

Granted, I do think the evidence for Global Warming is overwhelming and that the so-called ‘experts’ who disagree with it, errr, aren’t experts at all: all the world’s leading Climatologists vs. an author of fiction – I know which side of the fence I am on!
