Why Intelligence is the answer, and asking is not a problem

Intelligence gives us the answer. Some people say “we make our own problems.” For instance, they say that we make up the problem of searching for the answers, like “how does consciousness work” and “how did we get here.”

But this isn’t true. For instance, animals have consciousness, but they don’t know why they do…they just do. The gears move on. So, there is still an unanswered question in the animal…“why am I here?” He just doesnt have the wisdom to ask it. But the problem of suffering and of consciousness, is still there. We did not make our own problems, did we ask to be born?

We are still like the animal, if we do not know the answer. See, the experience of words is no different than animal consciousness. We still experience. The animal is the same, we just experience with a few words attached. Until we experience the understanding of the reason we experience we are the same as animal.

To question is no different than to scavenge the land for prey. Until we actually find the answers, our consciousness and understanding is no different than animal.

We did not make our own problems, did we ask to be born?
This is true. But for there to be an answer we have to first assume existence is a question.

Maybe existence is a question, the whole of existence over time! in other words the question/s and answer/s are occurring. however, if its always like that, it seems to make it all pointless? like how a relationship gets stale because everything gets known.

What I am saying is a “question” is no different than existence, we are animals existing, asking questions. There is no meaning behind our questions, because they are questions.

Only till we have answers are we really different from an animal. We are only different in the sense we have tools, such as logs and the ability to question in order to potentially find answers. To question is meaningless unless we find answer, similar to how if an animal moves a doornob it is considered meaningless, unless the animal understands how to open the door, and then the animal has suddenly become different from the other animals.

An animal moves a doornob because a door feels strange to the animal. That is the question. The animal is questioning the door. It wants to understand the door, but it cannot even comprehend what a door is, other than what it looks like and does, the animal does not know enough in order to know what it seeks. This is similar to questions of consciousness, we do not even know what we seek, we are just know we are seeking for something. We ask what is the meaning of life and consciousness because it feels strange to us. That is the question. Only until we understand answer, do we become different than animal.

That animal plays with the doornob and knocks it around aimlessly, because the doornob feels strange to it. That is the animal questioning the door. door. We ask what is the meaning of life and consciousness because it feels strange to us. We play around with it, and knock it around, but do not understand it. Both of us are just animals, feeling strange, playing around with phenomenon we do not understand. That is to question. Only until we understand answer, do we become different than animal.

We have libraries full of answers, but I know what you mean. However we are not going to find ‘the’ answer in a multiplicity which is continually changing. There will only ever be questions and answers pertaining to that.

On the other hand, I think humanity will reach the point where it can treat reality like it does graphics in movies/games. To achieve that inevitability we will need to know what reality is, but I don’t think we’ll ever know why it is. It appears we are presented with a world, and we can know that, but not why we are in this position.

I don’t think humanity is quite as bad as the animal and the doorknob. The world has its mechanistic side and that will eventually be discovered.

What answer are you looking for?

That’s just it, I don’t know. Kind of like an animal and a door doesn’t even know what it is looking to find.

However, I will settle for the answer, of what "a multiplicity’ is?

The other day I was thinking about a naked brain…just sitting there, naked. How on earth are we inside it? It’s just a disgusting pile of flesh, and yet I am trapped inside of it, like it dictates my existence somehow, and I am it, but how can I be just mere random matter and molecules?
Like, how does DNA just sprout consciousness? All of these beings couldn’t possibly have consciousness, could they? It’s absurd.

Haha, = ‘a collection of things’, then add that the collection is always changing, and you never reach an absolute end. That is in terms of understanding. However, if we consider history, there has been many stories and ending, you just need to find out what your is. In my experience ‘it’ [non-personified/no-anthropomorphic] finds you, you don’t get to find or ever meet ‘it’, because there is no ‘it’. That’s what we have, we are presented with a world full of different time-lines as an ever-changing ‘fluidic space’.

Though we have to say that there are more general causal trends, for example, strings which historians refer to as ‘the forces of history’ ~ for every Napoleon you get a Wellington kinda thing. And that over era’s the whole mass forms and reforms, but there is a collectivity in amongst history - if you will [hard to find suitable earth language], and the near future will bring much of that to a close in some way.

It is indeed absurd, when you look directly at it you cant see you or consciousness in there anywhere. Even if we could look at the whole mass or individual exchanges of electrical signals, its not there. As I see it, we have to look at and understand ‘the whole’ such to understand the self. We can take any given thing or collections of things, and place them into a metaphysical sphere titled ‘existence’, this is the whole of physics and of our physical constitution, + everything derivative of that. I don’t feel I have to tell you about the limitedness of this universe [had a beginning], so we have another sphere also titled ‘existence[2]’ where there necessarily has to be another existential reality or universe. This is ‘outside’ of this universe, and so now we have two mathematical logic sphere’s, which must be contained in a third encompassing sphere [eternity].

Now we must stretch existence into eternity, as the existential spheres must resolve into the greater [sphere] reality. In short, there IS something else going on, and it does transcend existence or an existence!

Now it comes to YOU; when the necessary device manifests in the world [by this I am referring to either organic growth or technological construction of an artificial brain], it pattern matches [not unlike music to an amplifier] with that equation where existence is resolved into the real eternity. The spheres merge in fluidic fashion from almost finite, to almost infinite, and like pulling a cloak over your reality you pop into existence. If the very same process was repeated [albeit in a different space-time location], there would be another ‘you’ in form, but with another consciousness.

Well that’s how I think the metaphysics of existential individualism works, sorry I have had to be a bit poetic with my language, but I am sure you can read between the lines. :sunglasses:

Btw rebirth would simply be another ‘turn of the wheel’ and the whole pops into being; the greater orb is resolved into the singular given existence [also works for universes].
