Why is Dan~ so ****ed up?

Here is a basic taste of “why”. :astonished:

Basically:
I want to rule the world. I want to stop all suffering, loss, ignorance, corruption and stupidity [and if given the right resources, I know that I could, which is what makes it so much more maddening]. I think that culture is too ****ed, and the masses are so programmed into acting like A, that they cannot comprehend B. So the majority of human values & opinion is what controls the democracy and the values/opinions of the future, and I feel that humanity is doomed.

So I’m kind of ****ed up.
I realize that what the masses want for today, is not in the best interests of the children of tomarrow. I feel as though all that I ever say and do is not enough, nothing is enough – no-one, nowhere in history – no leader, no nation, no union could stop the deepest and most shitty paradigm of civilization. *** ******.

I’m not even going to start going into details…

Maybe I should just talk about Kermit The Frog…

you are as fucked up as everyone else b/c you live in teh world that you do.

But I think you don’t have to be fucked up just b/c you live in a fucked up world. get a balance on spirituality, your goals and your personal life and you’ll be “less” fucked up.

good luck

not to be offensive, and while I appreciate the offer of your worldwide rule… I don’t think I really want to be ruled by you.

I don’t know about all your ideas but I certainly see one glaring contradiction:

If you want a technocracy to develop extremely high yield, high efficiency farming methods where only a few farmers can produce all the needed agricultural products how can you then claim that people should cook their own food at home, and make home made stuff rather than consumingprocessed, packaged food. Do you have any idea how much tinkering has to be done to crops and livestock to get ultrahigh production? Do you have any idea how wasteful and damaging intensive live stock operations are to the environment?

Rather than have super high efficiency industrial agriculture (which is hell on the land, and isn’t sustainable) why not encourage local small scale distributed food production rather than extremely invasive large scale centralised production?

Your kingdom would probably be better than mine, though, because I have no desire to rule over others. And the fact that you wish to rule over me makes me sure I don’t want you as a leader.

cheers,
gemty

Beware: The Improvers of Mankind!! They want to polish a poo-poo!! They don’t know a hopeless case if they see one.

The way to save mankind is to stop working for it.
No more need be tried.

Dan~

As soon as you stop trying so hard to be ‘mad’ then you’ll stop being ‘mad’. Personally I find all this Star Wars/Kermit/Squirrels/hyperactivity a bit affected, somewhat insincere. I think that you want to think of yourself like this, so you act like this to live up to your own self-image. None of this is inherently ‘you’, it’s simply a matter of adopting different habits.

However, if you are happy as you are then I don’t recommend that you change. Change is only for the unhappy, perpetual change only for the perpetually unhappy.

Nonsense.

…well, the ones that are caught and tested, anyway.

I don’t think you are fucked at all, Dan. A little hyper, but that can be a good thing. I think your mind is flooded with ideas which are not yet, or slowly becomming, organized.

If a man doesn’t literally jump out of his skin at the sight of this world, I’d say there’s something wrong with him. It is you, ironically, who does not practice this complacency, and therefore I classify you as the better man.

Sense.

Hi Dan

I’m curious about something. Clearly it would be advantageous for the masses to change. Now that you recognize this, what changes are you engaged in and are planning for yourself since you are part of the masses?

Change is necessary, constant, unavoidable, and undoubtedly the most base and fundamental effect of our efforts to moulding and becoming. Not only is ‘perpetual change’ not ‘for’ this or that sort of person, it is among the basic preconditions of all existence.

Dan is a great philosopher, and an even better actor =D>

Better sense.
