Should the docotors decide for the parents or husband or wife?
OR should the decision be base not on the doctors, but the surrogate? OR the court to decide?
Whatever the case, why should euthanasia be legalize, if life is precious?

Legalize it but, each case should be viewed seperately. Your body is your own and noone elses Your choice. Just like suicide should not be illegal. If your loved ones know you well enough and love you well enough they will know how you would feel so they should get the decision after having more than one doctor give their opinion. The doctors should not be working for the same hospital or other medical facility where the patient is. They should be totally neutral.
Therefore, euthanasia be legalized, and those who want to use it must go through the courts of pain and suffering.
Yet, why are some states so dumb? REligion madness?
It really has little to do with religion and more to do with sanctity of life. Unnatural death at the hands of another or yourself promotes fear and anarchal emotions.
Look at public executions. People used to flock to town to see hangings and other forms of executions. People have a hatred of murder a disgust of suicide, but, if it is a legal form of killing, humans can be rather bloodthirsty.
If given a choice between a news station that broadcast only heartwarming good stories would be chosen more over one that broadcast only tragedy and horrific news Which one do you think would be viewed the most? The bloody one of course. Its legalized bloody viewing. But,
To take life in a manner that is not sanctioned or considered cowardly, people have an abhorence or fear of it.
It has nothing to do with religion and everything to do with conflicting emotional thoughts. One is good one is bad.
Hunters that kill for food detest trophy hunters. Yet they both kill. One is for an honorable lifepreserving reason and the other for ego only.
For sanctity of life or ego., Not religion. Two different perspectives.
I think it’s important for society to value human life. If we allow people to kill each other, then it says that our lives are not special and that is demoralizing for a society.
However, I don’t think euthanasia sends the message that life is not valuable, so I don’t think it’s wrong. Euthanasia, if administered correctly, can add more value to life if it recognizes the weight and gravity of the decision of taking the life away. It does not say that a person’s life is worthless, it says the persons life is special, but it is their decision whether to keep their life or not and we care enough about that person’s life that we are willing to sacrifice them for them, or we’re willing to let go of people we love, because we love them.
