Will human desire ever be satisfied?Earth hates Adam and Eve

The more we invent and create technology the more natural resources are consume.
So , human desire can never be satisfied, and will self destruct through no more natural / earth’s resource.

Issiah said until humans have no more resources they will go back to GOd.

As long as human desires remain infinate they will never be satisfied, and once the resources get low we will either develop methods to recycle more effectivly or we will die, simple isn’t it.

Truthfully we can allready recycle over 90% of our latent wastes but we don’t because it is more conveniant to bury it, or to burn it, currious don’t you think?

Fortuantly, after we are gone the enviroment will recover on its own, assuming we haven’t destroyed it outright that is.

Hopefully people will learn to use resources more effectivly and learn to replenish what we use, otherwise they will all just die. Fitting isn’t it?

Have Fun

Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness,
and self-control; all fruits of the spirit. aka the seven levels of contentness

“All you are is what you do in life, everything else is just circumstancual.” For if you are spiritually content, then you can take all worldly things at stride. If you love worldly things as your way to joy and peace,… then these will become control factors as we prioretize them out of the context and nature they are intended for. If you do evil and selfcentered things then you are an evil selfcentered person. But these people will only hang out with those who endorce that, and invent philosophies to conect their logic together.

Calousness and self-centerness is the source of all evil. For these are the opposite of love. Pride is self-centerness and why people are unable to admit they are wrong. Motivations to happiness are the second reason people are unable to admit they are wrong. If evil lets them release some endorphines, then they are happy and too pridefull to admit the negative side of evil. You can only get out of life what you put into it. They just expect government to do all the things they are unwilling to do themselves.

I think you are throwing out theories and concepts, which I have on my own as well. thank you.

True, we can recycle, yet we do not. Why is that? ARe we lazy? Are we just not caring? OR is our desires are keeping us doing what we ought to do?

The answer is simply, desire. Can desire be unrecognized?
“Cognition without recognition” - definition of inutition

I don’t agree with this sentence (many inventions and new technologies have no effect on natural resources… a new form of mathematics, for example, would be a new technology… “technology” doesn’t only apply to kinds of technology that require natural resources), however, I do understand what you’re getting at. Most of the developed world is obsessed with improving what we have, building more and more and making things more and more efficient, but this short-term focus on improvement ignores long-term consequences on the earth.

so, I believe “human desire” here would better be written as “the current means by which we try to fill the holes of our human desire.”

“Human desire” describes a basic kind of need all humans require, is it freedom? Love? What can freedom and love both be mere manifestations of? Is it the lack of any desire? The lack of any conflict?

I also understand what I think you are getting at, and I agree; our current fixaton on growth, efficiency, and the acquirement of material “needs” will HAVE to prove impossible to fill at SOME point, most likely by same kind of momentous wake-up call, and then we’ll have to actually make some major qualitative changes.

What do you think “God” might refer to?

matthater

Technolgy is to make us to live better. but it does not make us live better in relationship with others, but technology only separates everyone. saying, I have the latest t.v. set, what do you have, bringing conflict, and competiong which is destroying the world, and destroying valuable natural resource.

I hope you did not call me “mattHATER” instead of “matthatter” on purpose! Haha.

I understand what you’re saying, but I think you are using the word “technology” to talk about only the kind of technology you have an issue with, the kind that is causing problems.

Example: Finding better means to get energy from the sun, solar energy, would be a technological advancement.

Technology can improve the planet as well; it isn’t technology that is bad, it is the kind of technology humans focus on developing that can be bad.

I believe that we can, one day, come across some amazing kinds of technology that will be able to use the earth’s and the sun’s renewable energy sources (and perhaps some sources of energy we have yet to tap into, or even discover) for the benefit of man, without any nasty side-effects to man or the environment.

Of course, the ability to get to this point suggests a major shift in the earth’s goals… which could most likely only happen if something pretty devastating opens everyone’s eyes, or makes it flat out impossible to continue where we’re going.

Hopefully we’ll make a major qualitative change before any kind of disaster happens… but it’s difficult to sway the minds of many without some extreme examples force them to pay attention.

technology is good. But can technology make human relations better, instead of bring conflict?
