At the moment I am thinking of so many women who say the same – How about be comfortable with yourself first-- you do not need a mate for fulfillment, but it is so very nice when you do.

While there is no guarantee that men are better than women or women are better than men. There are many circumstances where either gender generally excels at a task while the other gender generally comes in second.

Isn’t this the same within the gender and each of that’s genders abilities as well?

To start on your peace journey look for insight into the other creatures suffering and problems.

I agree about Yen yang, it is a balance that makes the equality. That is what chauvanists from both Genders fail to see. We are equal because we balance each other, we compliment the other.
Nit picking on specifics is Chauvanistic. Chauvanism is an insecurity about your attitude or feelings towards the opposite Gender.
I could not support or run this household with out my husband’s abilities, nor could he support or run this household without mine. Balance. We do interchange responsibilities from time to time, we have to, in order to be successful. Sometimes one cannot do their normal responibility so exchanges are made. I have finacially supported this house and he has. If one is not able to financially support, they maintain the household. Balance. We thrive.
Now we both admit, I am much better at the details of running this house then he is. And because his skills are much more marketable than mine, he is better at the financial support. My profession has limited openings. His does not have such limitations. This has nothing to do with Gender, It is the chosen profession of each that dictates the roles. Now that is how society is changing. Who is better able to bring home the bacon.
