Work

Gravity is there;
a reminder, for this world
exists,
In the real world…

The rhythm is there;
a reminder, for this place
lives,
Off the beat.

It is a hooded, ephemeral Mohawk.
Peers up at me.
Extreme dilation is a gateway.
I spot her inside easily.
I nod and take her half empty glass.

An interracial giant?
Black-clad tree shadow ninja.
I disappear and watch.
:
Years of work with the office.
Years since she’d heard that song…
Years since they’ll forget that night.
Years later the dance floor shudders.

so are the drugs my friend.

Thirst what are you laughing at?

touche. kind of.

gobbo, we should have some discussions about psychedelia, creative writing, and philosophy.

Indeed!

I’m getting some LSD this weekend. My first time… heyoo :sunglasses:

One thing which truly fascinates me about the CW experience concerning psychedelics involves what I have self-coined ‘the flow’. Often when I write I feel as if I more or less latch onto a particular frequency for transitions between thoughts – that is I’ll hear a sentence or something in my head, and find myself checking the definitions of words that are coming to me. It’s like… word then meaning, instead of conceptualization into word. But only (and this is important) on this certain level of transition. There is still the lucid creative base.

Do psychedelics, by partially diminishing the ego, allow us to navigate through our mind free of ‘meaning’ in a particular perspectivist leash, but while sustaining the lucid construction of a coherent thought?

The only thing psychedelics will diminsih is your wallet, Gobbo.

The only thing you will be navigating is your way through the parking lot after getting beer at the beer store and forgetting where you parked.

By the way, tracers are permanent, or so I’ve heard. You’ll notice them when you are trippin. Watch a cigarette cherry in a dark room.

If its got alot of crap in it, your joints will be stiff for hours and your jaw will get soar from smiling. Some call it the “perma-grin,” which means you can’t stop smiling.

This stuff is supposed to be pure. That is, we ordered it from a highly acclaimed business rather than ‘Chuckles’ the park dealer/burnt out clown who still wears his costume – yet never seems to be all that happy.

Also got a couple other ‘treats’ including: g-13, Durban Poison, Pure MDMA, Couple solid X pillz, and some BC shroomz.

Should be a Halloween for the bookz

Careful what you mix, kid…

I’ve pushed the limits once…

I don’t plan on doing that again.

:frowning:

?

How can you be sad about that which you have have, admittedly, no real insight into?

Because I’ve seen the effects on others and I am afraid for you.

-Thirst

i do not recommend synthetic drugs, old gobbo. they leave one feeling ill the next day.
i have taken pure mdma. i think it was helpful that i received it as a gift from a shaman. a self proclaimed shaman…whether he was one or not…
it was a truly intense experience and not for parties etc.

in order to fully appreciate my psychedelic experiences i tend to do something outdoors, during the day, or just with one another person. but, i once tripped in the middle of some sand dunes with 14 other tripping individuals…on mushrooms. that was certainly my most unforgettable self drug induced experience.

have you ever written poetry or anything else while tripping? i dare you to give it a go. it is possible while shrooming. shrooming can actually enhance a person’s physicality. i shroomed a bit during the republican national convention in nyc and wrote a long long poem about the chaos. its amazing for me to go back too…and its funny that the poem does not deviate so much from my non psychedelic enduced self.

just some thoughts…

i wish i knew more about psychedelic therapy. psychedelic therapy has been known to help individuals with all types of psychological problems, ranging from schizophrenia to depression. its funny that some drugs are legal and recommended for mental problems, whereas others are illegal. i do not often see a logic behind this difference.

I would have to agree with Alex. I’m no Earth Muffin, but the natural stuff seems to wreak less havoc with the body. Be careful about the LSD, OG…that can be a long trip, if you get my meaning.
