As nations and provinces, how do they compile money? Where does it originate? Is there a standard?
Paper money, if that is what you are refering to, then study how the Chinese have first printed them. Currency, if that is what you are refering to, then your enquiry gets complicated.
Currency does not exist merely as an instrument for exchange. It incorporates a certain essence of exchange itself. Trust, for example, how can I trust the Bank of England that it will pay me gold upon demand with its promise on the paper that has no intrinsic value? Since when and under what conditions were people able to give rise to such an important role of trust?
Clarification: I was meaning currency.
If it confused and/or befuddled someone…sorry.
That’s it? Well, that was simple. Thanks.
I noticed that your new occupation is “Chemist”.
Last year you were “Physicist”.
Will you be “Economist” next year?
Possibly. Hold on. I’ll change it now.
