It’s a hoax as far as I know.
I looked into it a couple months ago and I read somewhere that it was part of a promo video for the space channel. I remember reading quotes from the actors.

Its a hoax, its from the Sci-Fi channel, if you go to their website they have a whole bunch of them.
That was a pretty grainy video though, the one on their website is even more amazing.
