Let’s get everybody from ILP together and make some money!

What would be the quickest ways to amass a huge amount of money with the least amount of risk?

Put your thinking caps on ladies and gents… :D/

Figure out who lives in the places with the cheapest cocaine and weed, then set up a little shipping and recieving thing and have distribution in places where the prices are higher. Nothing like a good networking system to see to it that you can always buy low and sell high. We need accountants and oversight. And another way to communicate besides the forum.

Drug dealing over the internet never works out. ( Has seen it done before first hand.)

Either:

A. The feds do a internet sting operation.

or

B. Someone ends up screwing the other person on the deal running scot free with all the money and since it is the internet it usually ends up untraceable.

Personally if we were to do a internet thing I would go with computer hacking and blackmail but I am not a computer hacker not to mention I don’t know any computer hackers either. ( They are all probally working in silicon valley anyways.)

So identity theft seems like a top choice?

Let’s consider both legal and illegal options people…

I thought philosophers were smart!

No we just organize through the internet. People could do a little driving each and we could relay dope across the country. I know there’s alot of places that have better weed in larger amounts than where I live, but there’s an absolutley god awful amount of coke in this town, for pretty cheap. I wouldn’t mail anything or paypal anyone money ever, that’s just too risky.

Blackmail I think is the modern route to large sums of money personally especially if you have personal photos or revealing corporate documents that nobody wants to see in public.

Kidnapping is still popular too for large sums of ransom money if you go about it in the right way. =P~

Identity theft used to be a accurate form of crime bettween 1997-2003 but anymore with all the anti- identity theft programs, fed groups devoted to that specific area and with all the modern computer programs it is a risky thing anymore which I don’t think is worth the risk personally.

Now that I think of it the real money anymore can be found in “human” trafficking and sexual slave prostitutes. =P~

( Of course smuggling is very hard and moving around nationally or internationally costs large sums of money not to mention it is very difficult.)

Human trafficking seems too risky though comparatively. Though, that could just be my misconception.

Blackmail seems pretty good.

We also have selling drugs and kidnapping.

How about trading on the stock market or starting successful businesses (legitimate or for scamming)?

Hey wait a minute guys. I got blackmailed into testifying at this trial a while back, and that was very uncool. I say no blackmail, it’s cowardly and unfair. And not too long before that, this guy on campus stole my identity, and made a fake email that included my name to try and stalk some girl he used to date who was organizing some things in the philosophy dept, (where I work) and it turned into a whole big police fiasco. Identity theft is a bad idea too. People like drugs, and people who sell them like money. So that’s a fair trade, and an honorable one. Let’s do the things that they say are bad but aren’t, and leave the really bad stuff to the assholes. You CAN profit while being honest, even though it may not always seem that way.

If you have large sums of money and the forms of transportation in getting beyond police check points or border guards in operation to do it with, not to mention having multiple locations to establish your base of operations or services it is relatively easy.

You would also need isolative towns to abduct people ( preferably women) since “human” trafficking is nothing without the people to traffic.

If you don’t have those things it won’t be your thing to do, however if you know somebody who is doing it being a single transporter within it is pretty lucrative.

It is a classic crime like prostitution that never goes belly up.

I only wish I could find a way doing it professionally. :-k

There is more money in kidnapping. Most drug dealers have part-time retail jobs because they don’t make enough money selling drugs alone and because it is too risky transporting or even harboring large sums of drugs especially with the 10-15 year prison sentences out there for doing so should you get caught.

As long as you don’t play on the American economy.

If you have the money, sure. If you don’t have the money, no.

Internet scamming is great along with mail fraud.

Kenya, Africa is the largest contributor to internet scames worldwide statistically.

( Or some African country near by it. I can’t remember exactly off hand.)

I don’t think you guys are serious enough.

I’m game. I have nothing to lose.

Of course not!

(we can’t leave evidence of being serious on a public forum anyway)

:sunglasses:

Well, I can get 40 grams of shwag for 40 dollars. It’s not the best weed but it’s as cheap as it gets money-wise.

Let’s get no bid contracts in Iraq.

I think Halliburton has that covered…

Start a religion L Ron did quite well, and Maverick and Vinnie Barberino were very lucrative converts.

But seriously go to Iran now and make some contacts, after the destruction that is coming you would do very well. Do it now in relative safety before the shooting starts and you will have a foot in the door when it’s time to rebuild, resupply.
It’s a gamble but what isn’t, the odds for another war is enormous.
Have faith in the American way.
Of course this may trigger WW3 then money will be what we’re burning to keep warm in the nuclear winter that follows.

Don’t forget black water either. ( Corporate mercenary group or hired professional soldiers of fortune.)

Make money off of religion. There’s a thought. Scientology comes to mind.

( Where’s Tom Cruise and Will Smith when you need them? )

i like fruad, but it’s kind of hard to publicly organise something illegal, so in the interest of succes let’s stick to legal.

we could always do organised gambling, like going o an internet poker room where we are all working together at the table and stranger unknowingly enters.

we could share information and prize money and significantly increase our odds, and if the game was high steaks enough, it would be worth the risk.

then there is the option of selling domain names. think of the videos like crazy frog or 2 girls and 1 cup.

if we used that sort of thing to advertise, we could make some stupid but useful website and then sell the domain for thousands.

the stock market is also a possible avenue.

i have dreamed of programs which measure 3 day stock increase trends in all available companies and then invests for 1 day when a suitable trend.

if you have enough small gains from these short trends, and if you spread out the strategy enough and had enough small successful increases, you could amass alot of money with little effort. but i am no programmer.

my plan is to write a book. it’s kinf of hard to find your footing in the business but once you do you can shit out best selling books like the rest of them.

on this note. childrens books!. famous actors write childrens books all the time; its god damn easy.

not only do they not have to make sense, they can be made with extreme ease.

imagine if we got a bunch of artists and writers together… we could shit out childrens books like all our favorite brain dead actors.

so i think that making money easily on the internet requires a specific strategy, but making money through childrens books is probably.

with our diversity and presumed philosophical knowledge we could make childrens books which explain things like metaphysics

“and then johnny heard a BIG BANG!”

or

“even though Johnny thought Jane was retarded, he didn’t tell her because then she wouldn’t give him any nookie”
