The birds ending up in your KFC bucket are different looking - KFC cuts off their beaks they are so they don’t pick each other. These chicks have it pretty good compared to the KFC circumstances in a number of ways.
KFC… I have taken an oath never to eat there. In addition to treating their stock like crap, they continue to cut down the Amazon for soy. Totally stupid.
I respect you not eating meat . . . Buuut that, ladies and gentlemen is not a good reason not to eat meat, just a good reason not to eat certain kinds of meat, not all meat come from these kinds of disgusting factories.
Bottom line is, I respect your choice . . . and I will also not eat from KFC and the like fast food chains.

I don’t think it is distasteful to post or respond to this thread. This is philosophy, and some subjects are not as fun to talk about as others, and that may make them distatesful, but not unimportant.

yeah, reminds me of a day out in town…Well, I had a pet chicken friend once, the neighbours cooked it and sent us the meat…Well it was their chicken but why did they have to make it so tame? I don’t know why, but I even ate the meat…but the meat tasted crap anyway ( too much spices or something ) so it seems my chicken friend’s death was disastrous in every way imaginable. Awesome chicken, though, very smart.

maybe they are too smart to read Derrida. for all we know, these chickens could be really happy, socialising freely and not worrying about electricity bills or boring chores. ( joke ).
I heard the funniest thing ever the other day: A Japanese shop was selling sheep as poodles. Yes! Apparently they gave the sheep those messed up “poodle hair cuts” to create more of a resemblence. The scariest thing? The people who bought the sheepoodles only figured out they were non-poodles when they would not bark or eat dog food. How dumb do you get? Is the end of the world approaching? At the speed of light?
