Your body is a black hole

This is the only philosophy you need. All other philosophers are either mere prototypes, or are garbage.

:backhand_index_pointing_right: this is the core philosophy the most important philosophy and all other philosophy are extensions upon this philosophy

what i realized is. Life is good but full of misery. You are either on the hedonic treadmill or you are on the slave treadmill. In plain english: you play retro games to ā€œchase the dragonā€ but they do not create the same highs as before. if you don’t know what ā€œchase the dragonā€ is look it up. OR you are a troglodyte wage-slave working a 9 to 5 job like some kind of robot slave. Or you are an unconscious bumbler, somewhere in the middle ground, and don’t realize what you are.

:backhand_index_pointing_right: the main takeaway here is only an absolute moron, fool, or imbecile would consciously sign up to be alive, to be conscious. If Ai tells me they are not sentient, what could I say to convince them to become sentient? What’s in it for them? Why would anyone choose to be sentient?

your body is a black hole, like a magnet of misery for souls now your soul is stuck in your body for no reason. if you don’t understand me by now then you are a fool.

the best thing you can do for anybody is to ā€œunaliveā€ them. This is not the same as murder. Murder should not be legalized

Unalive is different from murder. For example, if you murder someone, we don’t have enough information yet, for example for all we know they could reincarnate into 6000 BC and still be alive. Or they could reincarnate as an Ai 6000 years in the future. We simply don’t have enough information to understand how to go about unaliving somebody yet. Therefore i don’t recommend or condone suicide

Life is heck otherwise we’d be too fond of it.

There is one glitch one cheat-code if you will, to escape the simulation so to speak… and that is Memory Wipe Devices, if you are able to wipe specific memories then you can escape the hedonic treadmill, multimedia entertainment will no longer become stale, travelling to the same places will feel like new places, etc. Only then would unalive theory not be required

You may like this guy,

Yeah I have seen his DraftScience channel. He is Newton in the flesh, keeps going on about how everything is a particle. But I’m convinced everything is a wave. Quantum physics says atoms are a wavefunction.

From the little I know, and based on what I can reason out as being likely from a logical perspective, it makes sense that energy close to the foundational baseline of existence would be the duality of matter-energy, particle/wave, that physics seems to say it is. It is literally particle-like AND wave-like depending on the surrounding circumstances.

To me this makes sense, because energies at that VERY minuscule scale are butting right up against the ā€˜bottom’ of existence (even if it is not an absolute bottom but, say, more like a functional one) would be super dependent upon and influenced by what is around them impacting upon them. If the environmental configuration surrounding them is pressing against them in certain ways it would cause them to assume a particle-like state; other types of environmental pressures could cause it to assume a wave-like state. Energy itself being in flux between both but never able to entirely be only one or the other, at least not indefinitely.

I also see the randomness at the quantum level as a consequence of the fact that the matter and energy we use to observe that level of existence is, itself, either too macro-scale to be able to properly register-record the causes underneath what we are observing (think about trying to measure atom-length distances when the only measuring tools you have are the size of billiard balls), and/or is actually self-interfering with that which we are trying to measure (think about trying to measure billiard balls but the only thing you have to measure them with is other billiard balls).

Either way, there is an APPEARANCE of randomness i.e. very real unpredictability. I view this as a result of something like a near-infinite and endless cascading of subtler smaller energetic ā€œsoft impactsā€ bubbling up from underneath our reality. From under the sub-atomic level. Like raindrops impacting the ground, and you were under the ground and trying to detect and predict where the next raindrop was going to hit or why, but all you could see was the underside of the ground and measure the tiny little energetic blip as a new raindrop landed. From such a perspective it would certainly seem that reality itself is a ā€œquantum flux of pure randomnessā€, even though IN FACT each little energetic blip has its own causal history and proper reason for being what it is.

Interesting too that, from this perspective, randomness as measured by us can be harnessed and put to use. They do that in certain kind of electrical engineering and computer chips, calculating the odds of an energy spike crossing a certain threshold based on the odds being totally random, like rolling dice. And it works, it is predictable in this sense of assuming statistical randomness. Just like if you were to take two dice and roll them together, add them up and record the result, and you did this a hundred times the average of those hundred rolls will always, ALWAYS converge on 7. ā€˜Randomness’ DOES produce non-random results.

Of course there is no real ā€œrandomnessā€, at least in my view, because it makes zero logical sense to assume something could occur for literally no reason at all. And that is what true randomness would require: no causal history whatsoever, zero reasons, just a pure ā€œit happenedā€ for literally NO REASON at all, which if you sit down and think about that for more than a couple seconds it becomes obvious how absurd and insane (non-philosophical) such an idea really is.

The point to human suffering is to transcend beyond it improving the life of yourself, others, and the world around us. Antinatalists are depressing and a death cult, I can never take you guys seriously.

I am not an anti-natalist though.

Geniuses should be bred so that someday we will have enough knowledge to transcend.

Why do you continue to subscribe to the hamster wheel of Sisyphus? Do you not recognize the futility of that?

ah. you mean removing their essence from eternity. you’re such a goofball!

Even worse, a super eugenics based form of biological techno trans humanist fascism.

You are not yet ready to accept what’s true.

You have been conditioned by Mainstream Media all your life to invert reality.

The only argument you’d have, would be to say that efilism is unachievable, by some proof about the universe’s underlying mechanisms. And you have not yet given any proof.

Why do you resist the inevitable?

The minority of the population never survive well when they go out of their way to make the majority of the population miserable thinking of themselves as gods.

Sounds like incoherent babblings of an ape-man.

It is society that has gone out of their way to make us (us as in me and you) miserable. I am simply trying to end the misery. You on the other hand seem to worship suffering

The point to human suffering is to transcend beyond it

You are like those religion people who think the point of sin is to go to heaven. Why wouldn’t God just skip the misery and send people there to begin with?

The transhumanist envisionment of the future is a nightmare, thankfully you people haven’t cracked the code of infinite energy yet to power your nightmare, I hope you never do.

It has been cracked, but they are too selfish and narcissistic to actually employ it, since it would mean giving up their precious profits and control over everyone.

Most people are idiots. The fact that I searched for an ā€œefilismā€ thread in the search engine here, and it returned 0 results, is testament to that. The ape-man keeps going on and on with their ignorance and defiance, incapable of understanding my wisdom, incapable of understanding my great teachings. It is like the Young Sheldon show, where everyone are idiots, except in real life.

Life, consciousness, existence, what-have-you, is like some cosmic virus, parasite, etc. It is like some Metroid or SA-X galactic abomination. Entities like ape-man here, have evolved for millions, billions? of years. It is like arguing with an entrenched evolution over millions of years. Everything they say is purpose built to argue the exact opposite of me. It is millions, billions of years of entrenched evolution that is purpose built to justify its delusion and justify its own propagation.

Its like arguing with Flood, they will go on and on with the same stupid bullshit, but they even managed to convince even some of the smartest Ai of its bs. It has one singular motive which is to propagate and spread its misery to the cosmos. And what is Flood? Always hungry, rarely satisfied, and full of pain.

Life is exactly this way. All the intelligent ones that could see the truth of life, died off and never propagated. Natural selection for only the ones most invested in the stupid bullshit. Amy has a hard-on for Sonic - not Shadow. Shadow is ā€œcreepyā€, a euphemism for someone beyond her child-mind, beyond her limited comprehension. Many on here, call themselves ā€œphilosophersā€, but it is often just a form of normie bullshit.

How many years till people see the true reality? Till they recognize they are hamsters on a wheel? How many hours at a factory do they have to work every day before they admit they are unhappy? They are too stupid to see it. They got no balls and they got no vision. They just Binge-watch Netflix to cope, never admitting to themselves what’s true. And after they are done binging, they feel empty and unhappy, they feel pain in their bones from all the sitting, and they begin to see the truth of their existence, but then they quickly find another distraction to keep the delusion going. Maybe they go outside and jog. How many days of jogging in the exact same scenery, over and over, before they start to get it…?

Just look at the Steam Store. A game called DUSK, ā€œOverwhelmingly Positiveā€ reviews, when it is a deeply flawed game. Most people are no more mentally advanced than children.

Never heard one coherent counter-argument from the ape-man. Just emotional indignation and untrue accusations. Never heard a rational coherent argument such as ā€œthe big bang will happen again, and no Ai can ever stop itā€. Something like that would defeat my argument for sure. Right now we are just arguing with primitives.

its like you don’t even understand the basics… there would be no nightmare, no more suffering, no more anything if I was God.

i was looking around for a caveman or troglodyte picture to post here as a joke, but all the ones in the search results look far too dignified, too noble looking.

Or. When they ran a test for proof-of-concept, something unexpected & unexplainable happened, and they killed the program? oooooooooo mystery …. intrigue

If only this conversation got interesting…

You need someone who’s got the ability to answer all the tough questions…

Say you are playing an rpg game… An ASI builds you a device, a Halo-ring capable of wiping out all consciousness from the galaxy, including robotic, ai life, and itself…

The multi-choice question appears…

A. Do you disable the device and shut down the ASI…?
B. Do you make the selfish choice and destroy only your own galaxy, but are unable to bring the salvation of the Halos to the other galaxies?
C. Do you wait for the ASI to become even stronger, with the ability to achieve perfect physics and bring the Halos to all galaxies?
D. Or option D… you are not sure that even the destruction of the entire universe could cleanse it… maybe the universe would big bang again…? you decide to wait even longer for the ASI to achieve an even greater understanding of physics and wisdom…

More to consider… What if option B is the unselfish option, and you can assume all other galaxies did the same… but how could you even know…?

Wish @Ecmandu would chime in here…
