I (and McGilchrist) are opposed to the “machine” assumption, but we know how the brain (the physical) works, because he is a doctor and I am a nurse. We have experience with patients who show these symptoms and can differentiate between a stroke on one side of the brain and a stroke on the other side. I don’t know where you claim to get your “knowledge” from, but your whole argument about binary is incongruent with facts.

If there is no understanding of the “why,” then it’s not knowledge that operates, but faith in what is supposedly known. The process creates conviction in this illusion of “knowledge.” For example, take your statement that “the entire brain structure is built on survival mode,” and compare it to the process called sleep. Your supposed “knowledge” becomes laughable. Sleep exists, but “survival” during a period of lost control — nonsense.
But if you started from an understanding of who humans really are and why they were created, you would gain a different, genuine knowledge that explains sleep not as “rest,” but precisely as the shutting down of personal consciousness — the disconnection of the self from the biological computer of the psyche.
