we see on this site the two separate and distinct political
opinions… the right wing and the left…
but this problem also extends into the philosophical area…
for example, If I offer up a solution to a problem, I had better
be able to give the pro of the argument/solution as WELL as the con of
the argument/solution…
so if I offer up liberalism as a solution, I had better offer up a
pro as well as a con to the solution…
but that is a liberal bent… the conservatives on this site offer
up pronouncements like “Biden is a wall street oligarch”
who will allow China to “dominate” U.S policy…
but these “profound” thoughts never have any thought
out understanding of their religious beliefs…
in other words, they offer us thoughts without any
arguments or a pro vs a con argument…
If Biden is a “wall street oligarch” or a “tool” of the Chinese,
then bring us some arguments and, AND give us a pro and an
con argument…
you can’t… simple as that… the best you can do is make “grand”
announcements that you can’t prove…
so in this thread, I shall do something you are clearly incapable of…
making a pro vs a con argument about some topic…
I shall begin with a simple one…
I hold that liberalism is the best form of ideology
and government that we have right now…
I shall make the pro argument and the con argument…
I offer the chance to engage in your own argument
about conservativism…why is conservativism the best form
of ideology and the best form of government?
I can make both affirmative and negative arguments about
the positions I hold… whereas you are unable to because
you hold religious based opinions about politics…
in other words, your political beliefs are a matter of faith…
and you hold your beliefs religiously… not intellectually…
with the same fervor that the religious hold their beliefs…
it is by faith that you hold your beliefs and
the religious still can’t overcome the known science
that the earth is round and circles the sun…
you have that faith in your political beliefs… it has nothing to do
with science or evidence or facts… your beliefs are outside of
any facts or evidence… they must be held no matter what…
and no amount of evidence or facts can change your firmly
held dogma…and that isn’t philosophy… that is religion…
I would suggest that you are on the wrong site… you would
be better served on religious website to better hold your
religious beliefs that are hidden within your political beliefs…
so, I shall begin shortly to offer up pro and cons about liberalism…
and I expect the conservatives to run far and fast from even attempting
this because religion can’t survive an honest examination of one’s beliefs…
