My discussion of MORALITY and EVIL/GOOD.

INDIVIDUAL MORALITY = a cognitive expression of an inborn and unique human trait that is independent of reason and utility but whose aforementioned expression is not. How one man judges right from wrong depends on his genetic traits responsible for morality and the whole epigenetic and environmental cascades which follow. Another important thing: Morality is always intertwined with judging and moderating how our own, individual actions WILL IMPACT OTHERS. I am not saying others are needed for morality but that this is the main anchor point for thinking about morality: how what we do impacts others and how we decide to moderate our behaviors based on this fact(but morality is not the only thing that can moderate this).

AUTHORITY AND MORALITY = due to a strong susceptibility to authority in the human species, individual morality is very often smothered but this does not change the individuals’ morality but his expression of it, as I already mentioned above(utility).

REASON AND MORALITY = respect for truth is a feature of human morality too but the human brain can tell evil from good and truth from false and this guides him through his life but does not impact his individual morality, just the expression of it. Another important thing is this: a human being whose individual morality judges something as acceptable can see that it is also evil(unlike what the Greeks claimed and alike what the Christians claimed); a wicked human being, say a rapist of infants, will be driven to the rape of infants as a factor of his individual morality which won’t find such acts repulsive and unacceptable yet he will be perfectly aware he is doing something deeply evil(but not wrong TO HIM!!!). It is one thing to see some value and recognize it as desirable and another to will it, want it. Ancient Greeks were wrong in claiming humans will want what is valuable and good once they can recognize it being so…Christian theologians and then Schopenhauer rightfully recognized that will goes its own way, independent of our ability to tell value from trash and evil from good.

MORALITY AND GENETICS: what is often confused is evil acts and morality. Many sexually straight men would have been driven to evil acts of pedophilia if they were genetically perverted…their morality might be equal to that of a pedophile(so they are morally equal) yet, because of other genetic features independent of morality, they are driven to acts which do not put their morality lower than those who do not have pedophilic tendencies but which lead to much more evil.

MORALITY AND EVIL/GOOD: what is evil??? Evil is that which seeks and causes others suffering and degradation for no reason at all or trivial reasons like pleasure, excitement, satisfaction…A man who tortures a dog because he is being told to by a terrorist is doing no evil but a man who tortures the same dog out of his own will and for his own twisted pleasure is evil. Simple as…No God needed nor universal moralities…When is say evil: Evil is that which seeks and causes others suffering and degradation for no reason at all or trivial reasons like pleasure, excitement, satisfaction Nothing more…and because such acts do take place every day, evil exists…no God or Satan needed(though I believe in Satan as a universal evil presence independent of the material world, operating in the value sphere of existence).

SATAN : the presence of evil and its expressions and manifestations in the universe. There are things that are not done out of the evil that leads to evil which is: Evil is that which seeks and causes others suffering and degradation for no reason at all or trivial reasons like pleasure, excitement, satisfaction. In this case, Satan is evil purified, stripped of any human motifs and simply happening for no reason at all. The definition of Satan is then: Satan is that which causes others suffering and degradation for no reason at all Two men fistfighting and one dying accidentally make neither of them evil and doing evil yet the man’s accidental and purposeless death is a clear manifestation of evil occurring independently of two humans engaged in the situation. Another example of Satan: a happy person walking down the road and something heave falling and killing that said person.

COLLECTIVE MORALITY/ETHICS/SOCIETAL NORMS/CULTURAL NORMS:

What is the difference between evil and wickedness???An evil man would be a man who would rape and kill your mother because he was horny and liked the adrenaline rush(instead of having a wank and going out drinking and fighting somebody or doing something which would not cause as much harm and degradation and suffering). A wicked man would be a man who would accept a contract to kill your mother and then rape her for money. A wicked man is not evil because he has practical reasons for doing harm to others but he is wicked because his own morality judges it right to kill somebody else and rape them for easy financial gain. From this point, we can easily transition into:
