I saw something like that in Irvine Meadows ca.10 years ago and the opening act was similar and it was mellow after coming back on it and then in 2000 something as last time seeing them in seventies.

Korn are from my area & grew up on them. Mostly only went to local shows but did see Smashing Pumpkins once. But. BOC at the fair… dang.

saw the black crows during that era when the singer was all strung out. he got pissy and stopped the show because he didn’t want people crowdsurfing. aside from his clearly party poopering attitude, not a bad show.
saw the smashing pumpkins way back at a bar in bham. standing room only like the kind of place a band plays before they get big. excellent show.

When I saw Smashing Pumpkins, Garbage opened (Stupid Girl, Only Happy When it Rains). During main show, there was a mosh pit I bordered… erm. Anyway.
BOC at the fair was in 2018. I listen to older stuff than the times I grew up in (plus that). And occasionally (rarely) new stuff.

I’ve mentioned this tale before, but I’ll share it again… one of the incidents, in which George Michael fell asleep in his parked jeep, happened across the road from the Mews complex where I live.
I had seen the solitary vehicle early-on that morning, and was baffled as to why it was still there later-on that night… then I saw the incident on the news and in the papers within hours of it being reported.
