I bought an acoustic guitar about 4 months ago, and an electric guitar (well, ok, a FEW electric guitars) since then. I just started playing when I got the acoustic, so I’m a complete beginner.

Mr. Reasonable a.k.a. ‘smears’ has got some Stevie ray Vaughan licks down pretty tight on the strat, doncha smears.

I bought a Gibson melody maker in 1964. On it I play some country and some 50s/ 60s rock. My main instrument is harmonica.
It’s been a long time since I’ve played on either.

Here’s some random doodling then. Couple years old I think. My situation could be thought of as unfortunate because in addition to having horrible short-term memory, I never learned music or how to read it. On the other hand, in not knowing what you’re doing, you’re constantly having to resolve mistakes when u play… and u discover shit accidentally. If you’re clever enough, u can pull out of a mistake as if u meant it, or find ur way out of a mistake and turn it into something workable, if only briefly (before u fuck up again), etc.
