I’ve met people with no philosophical background that seem to understand things deeply.
The main things.

With clarity, a person can see the truth quickly.
Clarity makes everything easier.

Yes, I think one can find wisdom, for example, through processes that are not based on extremely complicated language, books like Being and Time, and being a good arguer. I think often in philosophical circles there is this assumption that one needs to have read books X, Y and Z and to be able to use fancy philosophical terms, and be an expert at deduction and induction and have some solid overview of various philosphies to be wise or deep or not a sheep or…(fill in the blank).

To that prejudice I say, ‘poop’.
