is this idea of “CLASS”…
that somehow people are united into a “class” by economic
factors… the wealthy are one “class” the middle class,
the working poor, and yet if we look at the United States,
we don’t see any evidence that Americans are united
in terms of economic class… you see American’s united
in terms of race, creed, sexual orientation, gender…
but at no point do you see any sort of monolithic class
as described by Marx…for example, you have gays
who vote and favor the GOP… or women who vote
republican…or the poor voting republican…
all the while the Republican party is out trying to
destroy all three of those, gay, poor and women…
it makes no sense for any of these “classes” to vote
conservative due to the warfare the GOP has done
to these three groups…and yet, here we are…
the Marxist idea of history ending when the “working class”
takes over and we have no more “classes” within society,
is false due to the fact that we don’t have any such thing
as a unified, monolithic class system in America…
the GOP makes it allegiance clear when it works for
and works hard for the wealthy, powerful, the corporation…
that the GOP/MAGA party as no interest in the poor, is quite
clear and yet, the working poor will still vote for it…
why? The working poor will get nothing out of a conservative
control over government…for example, tell me something that
the working class/working poor got out of the early IQ45 years
when the GOP/MAGA party held all three branches of government…
a tax cut? The vast majority of that tax cut went to the wealthy
1% of America… the working poor got pennies on the dollar in
that tax cut… so what keeps the working class/working poor voting
for a party that has practice class warfare against it since the 1980’s?
the only explanation seems to be the cultural wars that the
conservatives throw out in an attempt to hide the fact that
the conservative party is actively working against the working class/
working poor…take away cultural war issues and what does the
GOP/MAGA party offer the working class/working poor?
Nothing at all… so this idea of a class system in America doesn’t
seem to have any basis in reality… so, how does the Marxist
idea of a class taking over make any sense?
