here I am not going to write about why did the IQ45 coup attempt
failed… long after I am dead, historians will be writing about it,
no, my attempt here is to suggest as to why it should have failed…
take a look at revolutions… take Gandhi for example, he tried to
free India from the domination of England…he used non-violence as
his tactics and he succeed…but what was the great principle he was fighting for?
he was trying to free India… his cause was the freedom of India, to seek self rule
and we as Americans can truly understand this…so freedom was his great principle…
and the great principle of the American revolution? that was also about self rule…
the great slogan of that time period, “No taxes without representation”
in other words, if we are to be taxed, we should have some sort of voice
in that taxation… it is a pretty basic and plain reason for the revolt against
England…
so we see that the driver of revolutions are the principles we are fighting for…
now what was the great principle of the IQ45 coup attempt?
was it democracy? that clearly wasn’t part of the agenda… was it the sanctity
of the constitution?
the very attempt of overthrow the government clearly show us that the
constitution, the worth and value of the constitution wasn’t the focus of
the IQ45 coup attempt…
the coup attempt failed as it should have failed because there was no great
principle behind it…to claim that voting fraud justifies the violent
overthrow of the government is to claim that the constitution has failed…
but it didn’t fail… it worked quite well actually… if you believe in the
constitution, truly believed then you would have gone through the courts
and if the courts deny you relief, as it did in this case denying the IQ45
relief, then after every single court loss, you would have up the next
court and the next court and the next court and this is what IQ45 did,
but once one loses at the Supreme Court… you stop…if you truly believe
in the sanctity of the constitution… if you believe in law, if you believe
in the rights of the voters to vote, then you stop… IQ45 lost by over 7 million votes…
that in of itself, should have been good enough to disengage from further
attempts to overthrow democracy…
so, we come down the the fundamental and principle of the IQ45 coup
attempt…
that there was no great principle driving this coup attempt is clear…
the goal and the only goal was to keep IQ45 in power…
that was the great principle of the Jan. 6 coup attempt…to
keep him in power and that is why he should have failed…
because there was no grand or great principle involved…
it was a raw attempt to seize power… there was no other principle
involved… to overthrow the constitution is to deny the constitution
has any value…
if you truly believe in the constitution, then you follow and accept its
rules and obligations… even if you should lose… as we did when the Dems
lost in 2000 and we had good cause, very good cause to believe that election was
“rigged” and yet, we held to a higher standard and we followed the constitution…
we didn’t try to overthrow it or try a coup attempt…and in 2016, we didn’t
try a coup attempt even though that election was far closer then the 2020 election…
because we hold to the constitution… the laws…to the higher principles of
being a democracy…
and to what principles do the follows of IQ45 hold to?
they will throw out a lot of buzz words, but in fact, they hold only to the
basic principle of power… that is their mantra… to seek power…
because if they had believed, truly believed in the constitution, then
they would have followed the constitution and accepted their loss in
the election…
so in light of this, ask yourself, what great principle do the right wing followers here
follow? what is the great principles that they follow?
we see on the left the principle we follow… we seek justice…and equality
to treat everyone as equals…if there was a fundamental leftist principle
that would be the idea of justice for all…
and of course those on the right will jump up and say, “what about this” and
“what about that” or “what about this thing” but what they won’t do, is
to seek the guiding principles of the right, the conservative… I will venture
a guess that the right doesn’t have a overall, guiding principle…
and this is the question for them…
Lay out your guiding principles for everyone to see…
what principles do you follow?
simple enough request…
I did a year long study of the right/conservative movement and so I know what
the classical principles were, but these followers of IQ45 don’t seem to have
any guiding principles that conservatives have followed since Burke…
so, what are your guiding principles? not the action… there was an illegal vote
and we are fighting that… that isn’t a principle… that is opposing an action…
give us your principles…not what you are oppose to as actions…but
what you believe in?
