Was Jesus a Communist?

Realizing there is a stark - almost opposite state - difference between real world communism and idealized (promised) communism is there really any difference between idealized communism and Jesus’ platform?

  • Both promised “from each according to ability - to each according to need” -
  • shared wealth (or poverty) -
  • lack of ownership -
  • lack of military governance -
  • each has their apostle priesthood/acolytes/pundits -
  • each maintains a surveillance mandate -
  • each has their privileged elites -
  • each failed to provide their promise -
  • each holds the same excuse for that promise not being realized.
  • each - in practice - resorts to the opposite of what they professed and creates the opposite of their promise.

One says “God” the other says “Common Good” - and the first says the second is what the first one means. The Priesthoods of each announce the directives from above.

Of course there are nuance differences -

  • different names for the offices and duties (all it takes to completely fool the masses) -
  • different virtue signaling means -
  • different dress and symbols -
  • different outwardly required signs of obedience.

Was the Garden of Eden merely the first communist experiment gone bad in the same way as every other has since?

Is there really any substantial difference (honest question)?
