This happens at regular intervals, probably when the bots learn how to bypass anti-spam settings.

I’ve updated the spambot tests, and I’ll nuke the ones that got through. As Mags said, it’s something that happens from time to time, but the tests do a good job most of the time.
The former. 8 months of lockdown with work from home plus two young kids at home plus just being in a super shitty place mentally because of all of it. I actually think you’re a bit generous calling that my “last substantive thread”, I’d say it was this one from about a month earlier.
But with luck, the skies will be clearing. I’m making some changes at home that should free up some time and headspace.
