Nazism is a harder case. If people are defending bad ideas, that’s OK, they can be wrong and the response is to argue or ignore. If people are harassing people for their perceived identity, that’s not OK.
Either way, I’m happy to review anything anyone views as problematic. Fair warning that I have a pretty high tolerance for what’s OK, but I’ll seriously consider any reported post.

The mods here in my opinion have always been great at their jobs and remaining unbiased. Mags and humean and Dan were my favorites. What are you typically looking for in a moderator? Are you going to not have any for the site now? Are you going to be enforcing rules against ad hominem or other logical fallacies?

I don’t care about these morons but I do think the site is legally in danger with each call to murder based on race. It wouldn’t surprise me if this is their intention. To spam the site with explicit genocide propaganda and then report it to get it taken offline. It has happened to several big US forum sites the past years.

As for racial harassment, that has been going on here forever. MagsJ has sometimes stepped in but she cant really be asked to deal with it constantly, as it also means reading all these spasmodic posts, which is downright unwholesome.

Sad thing is these people are actually quite amusing when they aren’t labouring on their weird agenda. It would be fantastic if they would gain some self-respect. Ive tried to help them into some conscious self-valuing - and come to think of it it kind of worked, a bit.

The ethics of genocide are an appropriate subject of philosophical inquiry. I do think that “radical positions must be approached delicately”, but that is a hard standard to police impartially; someone who is offended by a position will find it easy to fault the presentation of that position, no matter how delicate.
That said, I will police this more forcefully to the extent that people are being flagrantly offensive. Reporting posts anywhere near that line will help me in this.

Not at all. I’m aloof because I don’t have time, and I don’t intervene when I do have time because of a philosophical commitment to open discourse, even where people are defending ideas I find abhorrent. I also have a general low emotional affect, which means I often see obnoxious posts as merely uninteresting rather than offensive (that trait has always been a double-edged sword).
I can’t believe you temporarily banned me Carleas for an inside joke with Phoneutria that stems from another thread on the forum. [That was started by her initially mind you.] Nobody was harmed and the humor was minor. I guess Carleas has firmly and effectively clipped off my balls as I can’t even make a simple joke without getting banned from now on.
I suppose it was inevitable since my politics and philosophy is despised here with our resident zionist pushing me to be banned or deplatformed completely from the site.
Let’s see here, I have a second board warning issued where if I get one more I am completely banned forever. That’s a nice home coming gift, thanks for that. I suppose there’s no rolling back any of those board warnings either where like the sword of Damocles it will be hanging over me until somebody decides to apply one more destroying me completely. Whatever, if I get banned from this forum I’m probably done with all social media on the internet altogether, the internet has been reduced to one giant safe space full of a variety of ideological snowflakes, at a certain point I’m just going to throw in the towel and call it quits.

It’s interesting that I have had a plethora of insults hurled towards me on the forum but not a single moderator or admin has done anything about it yet when I make a single joke I get temporarily banned with an added board warning. However unlike many of the nutless individuals here I don’t report such posts because I’m not a little girl that goes crying to people when others say terrible things about me. I’m above all of that.
So yeah, going to keep to myself in my own threads severely limiting my actions with other board members as I’m just one more board warning from being completely banned from the forum. Hope you’re all very happy with these results which I’m sure for many of you, you are.
If you are unpleasant to be around, people will ask you to leave. You’re not going to escape that by leaving the internet.

I’m not going to change myself to accommodate others, I am who I am and nothing less or more. I will not change myself for anybody, people can either love me or hate me, I don’t care either way.
