When decades of sunburnt skin start eroding away, courtesy of the lockdown and thus cleaner fresher air to breathe, which in turn aids in a much more efficient cellular turnover and more natural hue for me, of that which I was born with.
Why’s some crying about lockdown though, when it’s doing much more good than harm…?
I keep getting paler by the day… years of tan, eroding away.
dude i don’t know what you mean by that
but if i want a vid to bee seen instantly by a bunch of people
i put it on istagram
but i mean this is the only place i put that youtube link
20 views would have been reasonable
so which one of y’all watched it 40 times?
sh… should i hire security?
K: as one who is no longer “young and beautiful” but old
and decrepit…I no longer worship at the house of the
“young and beautiful”… but why Kropotkin? jealous much?
no, not at all… for when I see one who is “young and beautiful”
I also see that one day soon, sooner then one thinks, that
they grow old and decrepit…youth and beauty are just a moment in
time… as is old age and middle age and childhood… just brief moments
that don’t last long…
the truth is that youth and beauty are just fleeting moments
that don’t last long… but seeking, seeking can last a lifetime…
the truth that one pursues can last an entire lifetime…
the beauty of the flesh only last a short period but beauty
in form such as paintings and ART and science and philosophy
can last one’s lifetime and beyond…
do I accept the Platonic idea of “TWO WORLDS” no, no I don’t…
but I do understand even ART and paintings and literature, beauty
of form, can only last so long… much of what was “beautiful” in the
ancient world is long gone… grounded into dust… and much of what
we consider to be beautiful today, will be gone soon, also ground into
dust…
so Kropotkin, what exactly is permanent? nothing as far as I can see…
but that doesn’t stop our search for what it means to be human…
and that search, for what it means to be human, doesn’t end in one or
two lifetimes, but is a search that has lasted since the beginning of human
beings… and certainly was an essential part of the “Greek” experience…
to discover that which makes us different then animals or as the “Greeks” might
have called them “Barbarians” those humans who were “uncivilized” or
“primitive”…
and what does this have to do with being “young and beautiful”?
why everything… you just have to connect the dots…
I hear you. But tell that to Pedro, Prom75, Satyr and god knows how many others for whom “young and beautiful” is “naturally” where it all begins.
Me? Sure, if I wasn’t “old and decrepit” myself, I might be in the thick of it. But it’s her intrepid intellect and wicked wit that would ever and always be where it must begin for fools like me.
