When I first read the crux of PoR’s argument I felt a certain sensation deep within me. I felt like something was emptying from me, as if PoR had initiated the truth… and thus the action in reality-

The time is coming when I will no longer be with you. Marxism, in its ideal form (not its actual form), is no better or worse than Capitalism in its ideal form. If there were a Marxist society that was truly “of the people” where one works to one’s abilities and receives accord to one’s need, i’d probably want to be there. Have you spoken with people who gre up in, say, the DDR (East Germany)? Many of them like the socialism better than the Capitalism, especially if it didn’t have as much progaganda and corruption as it did.
And, no, we don’t “donate all our hard earned cash to some black person” or else we’d be as poor as they. In some societies, tax money does go to subsidized housing and support so that people with little income can live. But, the problem isn’t that. The problem is the people who abuse that system (on all sides).

Ha! It’s not “don’t listen to the academics,” but “choose which academics to listen to.” If you think that any politcal group doesn’t have some academics standing behind them feeding them lines and/or propaganda, then you’re just as bad as those “damn pinko commies.”
Family, yes. “Race,” no. i’m sorry, but the majority of white Euro-Americans had little effect on my upbringing except to despise the racism that they portray. Don’t worry, though, i also saw the same practise in the black African-Americans as well and despised it just as much. i even saw the Spanish-Americans do it to an extent. The ones i didn’t see doing this were the Easterners and Middle-Easteners. So, i learned from them as well to accept other cultures. Without that tolerance of others’ beliefs and practises that do no harm to anyone, all that we have is violence.
Ah, I forget how refreshing the never ending font of ignorance that is PoR can really be. These are quite the temper-tantrums he is throwing though. Very, very uncouth. I have to agree with Aero on this one, PoR is out of line and a banning may be in order. Regardless as to whether he is a parody character or a racist from Australia he is bothersome, rude, and usually detracts from posts rather then complements. So I am starting poll in Mundane Babble entitled “Campaign to BAN Pinnacle of Reason,” where I encourage everyone to vote on the subject.
Regarding RACE. To deny the existence of race is an impossibility but to deny the significance of race is reasonable, though it may be a little optimistic. Race is a rather polarizing characteristic of human existence, whether justified or not. Race is also impossible to define, it’s a slippery wicket, sometimes race even has certain laws. Take Jews for example, I’m not an expert nor do I really know much at all, but I hear that the classification of being a Jew is passed down on the side of the mother. If you’re mother was not a Jew and your father was you are not a Jew, though you can still be of the Jewish faith. After three generations of passing Jewish faith through the mother’s side your grand children will be technical Jews. Weird huh!? I dare anyone to explain to me what the concrete distinction between a native born Muslim, Jew, or Christian in Jerusalem really is. Yet most of them think of themselves as separate racial groups. Wild and crazy stuff, or another great example is the difference between a Hutu and a Tutsi in Uganda. That’s even more obscure, basically it came down to what they Dutch decided to call you. I know it may seem rather arbitrary but this “racial” divide caused one of the worst genocides in the 20th century. So what is my point you may be wondering, well I don’t have one. Race is almost impossible to a put a finger on, so I ignore it as much as I can. Instead I identify with arbitrary things like philosophical traditions and tastes in music, but maybe that’s probably because I’m soooo postmodern. 
Let’s hope it’s cancer.

No. Capitalism effectually profits some people. It is restricted to supply and demand. People normally work the jobs that make the most money, so that the jobs that make little money in a Capitalist system (such as farmers and construction workers) are in large demand but little supply. In Capitalism, there is an inherent hierarchy of jobs where, depending on the society, a line is drawn as to what is an “acceptable” job and what is not. In Marxism, all jobs pay equally, so there is less push for people to be doctors, lawyers, whatever, because the doctor will come home to a dinner table similar to what the farmer comes home.
The problem with Marxism, though, is that there is a high chance of individualism being shot down. Everything is the same, so there is a lack of motivation for someone to strive to be “all that one can be”.
Then explain the poverty rates and the unemployment rates. Supply and demand, coupled with an ethos of job class hierarchy, creates this unemployment which then surfaces as poverty.

Not at all. Families came first. Even in Hunter-Gatherer societies, there is family but not “race” differences. It is not until we get to the more technological, less nomadic, societies that we find an issue of race.
Violence doesn’t solve anything. We have a long history of wars (USAmerica itself has averaged one war every 20 years) and their aftermaths that show that what each side of the war wanted to accomplish in the other never succeeded.
The only war that the victors seemed to have done some change was WW2 with regards to Germany and Japan. But, Germany first took a 40-year cold war to truly surface its results. We can look to the latest war (Iraq) in which Bush thought that by bringing democracy to the country, they’d vote for a Western-Democratic government. What did they vote for? A radical fundamentalist government. What did they come from? A radical fundamentalist government.
