Matter cant be totally destroyed, it just turns into another form. So when we die and our bodies decompose under the earth or are scattered as ashes. All those atoms must then become part of something else. Lets say our decomposed body becomes the site where a tree begins to grow. Do our atoms then become part of that tree?..then if its chopped down our atoms become lumber…then a chair or table. So does every thing have a little piece of life in it?..
Our atoms don’t have life in them. Life is not a thing, or a property of matter - it is a process. When the process ends so does life. At least that’s how I see it.
id say everything moves, doesnt mean its alive.
