A little metamorphosis on my attitudes.

I am going to make some changes. I base them on some propositions I feel fully convinced of. Here are these propositions.

*There is insurmountable evidence for government conspiracy.

This is not to say that there is necessarily any astronomical conspiracy, that it is all malevolent, or that it is all under one single organization. It is the simple phrase itself that deceit and secrecy is intrinsic (at times quite blatant) within government.

*There is insurmountable evidence that various government groups do not have the best interest of humans or life universally.

They are interested in nations, in specific corporations, in conquest over international affairs. This is to be expected.

*Plagiarism is a great deal part of current and common affairs.

There are people lieing from just about any angle you might name. From an archaeological standpoint, from an astronomical standpoint, from a political standpoint, etc.

*“Know Thyself”

Out of the little that I may be apt to insist on, it makes the most sense to begin learning through self knowledge. If you don’t understand yourself, you are at much greater risk to misinterpret the rest of your environment. This does not need to support any mystical New Age claim. This is merely a fact of psychological wellness.

I have been hearing encouragement from all sorts of viewpoints. Mainly 3.

*Rebellion.

People that would go so far as to terrorize the WTO. I have always felt that modern money is not the answer to a comprehensive geopolitick. Competition brings innovation ONLY in a primitive sense. The “eat or be eaten” philosophy. Money is a good motivator. To assume that this (with a few restrictions) is the best all encompassing world ideology is ludicrous. We are SMARTER than this! But then if I would really believe this, why do I not try and build a nuclear bomb in my basement. Make myself a “one person country” or the likes of something crazy. Every powerful nation today was the rebellion of another powerful nation before it. They don’t seem so much better. Either something is corrupt about the human species which renders these “rebellions” to not provide much progress, or something is corrupting within the background which extinguishes the intentions of liberty seeking governments.

*Money

Likewise, there is the opposing view that even though we would like to destroy a great deal of capitalist notions that are quite blatantly corrupt, trying to work in any way “outside” the system is equally ludicrous, if not more, because of its futility. To accept a rather capitalistic view allows you to work with modern institutions, educate yourself, advance your access to things. There are socialist solutions being made. At times they seem a little ham-handed. But the theory goes that as long as democracy is ensured, then there is always a way “out” if things seem to go awry. The “Supreme Court” election of Bush, and the corporate puppetry, irregardless that Kerry won fair by far, made me cast doubt on the entire elective process in just about any government anywhere.

*New Age

So then there are the people coming out that would like us to ignore both sides of this “for or against” modern trend. They often reject scientiffic interpretation, or allow simple misunderstandings and intentional misdirection (generally for money) to lead them astray. The great pyramid scheme of hoaxers and hoaxed. Yet this does not change my strong belief that many agencies will stop at nothing to corrupt the foundation of science or to add religious bias to the sciences, in order to extend their arrogance or control the public. Most New Age believers do insist that the discovery begins with self. If they prefer to make bizarre claims, but do not set fierce doctrine, I can live with this.

I think these are the general 3 types of common thought in the general public. My reaction is “where to go.” To be intentional about it, not just wander.

Recently, I’ve been gaining more interest in the beliefs that try to shake the foundations of science rather than support it. But if the scientiffic principal remains pure, then this kind of attitude would only contribute more to science than reduce it. The strength of evidence will weigh out all the false claims and ridiculous doctrines that try to challenge it, which will add to the body of challenges which fail it. That is IF science remains pure, and there is no deceit.

And with that, I’m jumping into a little New Age wagon of my own make (or should I say my own meandering of bizarre misconceptions). I’ll be talking about following your intuition, about strange astral travel, e.t., about so much that normally I would call ABSOLUTE bullshit. This is the reason for the separation between profiles. Because my attitudes have not changed but the way I wish to challenge things for a time is going to.

As of this post, I’ll leave my current profile alone and post as PLEIADES.

This is because my posts are going to take a much more bizarre lean. My beliefs haven’t really changed. My angle will for now.

Support will be interesting, but I also hope to find a great deal of interesting opposition. How will you contend, against the New Age hippy? Will you be able to confront it with civillity, even when the suppositions seem ludicrous? Good luck.

Thanks.

OK. But don’t get lost in the hall of mirrors or suspended in the contemplation of infinite possibilities. There are a number of unusually bright minds that I have encountered that have fallen into the trap of behind this is… and behind that is… and behind and behind and behind… To the extent that everything is possible, nothing is possible.

Aye, beware, after a while, the stance becomes the man. Our brains are flexible beasts, and seek to come to a new equilibrium with any new situation, be it real or affectation.

Just my two cents, but conspiracy theory gives governments too much credit for brains.

conspiracy ? No just greed. Power corrupts, lots of money corrupts, put other people’s money together with power and you are corrupt. Evolution could lead this species down seperate paths. A split if you will. The mind will play a big part in that evolution.

oh no! you put other people’s money together with the benevolent dictatorship of a socialist tyrant and you have paradise!

corruption? maybe in the soviet union, but we can do it better! humans have evolved in the last 10 minutes… yeah, so give me your er give your money to the cause, yeah that’s it…

Here take my wallet, If it looks familiar its only coincidence, it is not yours ,it is mine. I found it in your pocket, finders keepers and all that.

You might be interested in this book - I’ve glanced at it but I haven’t read it:

“In this engaging book, F. G. Bailey looks at the deeds and words of politicians in the United States, in India, and elsewhere; and at the behavior of ordinary people, mostly in village India. He demonstrates that there is a vast confusion about “truth,” that in politics claims to have a monopoly on truth can rarely be sustained, and that people often find themselves treating what they believe to be false as if it were true, because it pays to do so.”

My own opinion is that although various conspiracies surely exist, the appearance of conspiracy doesn’t mean that an actual formal conspiracy exists. Our own dubious individual and group psychologies are enough - for instance you don’t have to actually have a meeting with your business adversaries to engage in price fixing. The whole thing works quite naturally all on its own and doesn’t necessarily need any prodding.

Yes, but don’t overestimate the government and the capabilities of the extremely wealthy–all the money in the world can’t buy certain ideas.

And many of the ruling elite are as stupid as dog shit and not worth a drop of cat piss. They believe in their ignorance more than anybody.

This has become a really fascinating endeavour!

Rather than trying to approach all the claims in a skeptical “prove it to me!” attitude, I’ve been running around telling all “I believe! I believe!” I’ve been pushing the same trend “It’s the truth! Everyone believe!”

Interestingly enough, I’ve been coming across various New Age channelers and believers whatnot that are claiming others to be hoaxes . . . well then. Who am I to believe?

I am mostly impressed with the kind of opposition to Pleiades (Pandora takes the lead so far. Many come close) in the amount of science to oppose the claims. So much so that I think at times my respondants will temporarily put aside the semantic hairsplitting I often see in philosophy and presenting good hard science that many of us don’t know. Maybe the New Age play really is good whip to flex the science muscle.

I am convinced beyond a doubt that there are very strange things we just can’t explain very well- and seem to be avoiding (giant skelotons in particular. I’ve yet to see a good hoax theory on that theory . . . and if true- an explanation why it’s so in the closet!).

New Age really makes a lot of valuable claims. Things that, even if fairly obvious, science agrees with substantially.

*TV is bad for you. Whether it’s aliens programming your mind and sending viruses directly, or just a lot of media garbage, it’s just plain bad.

*Don’t smoke and eat food you know is bad for you.

*Mental focus is important. Don’t “settle for” a certain amount of sleep. Get the optimum sleep. And meditation can help this alertness and discipline.

*Avoid the newspapers. I mean really, they might have some interesting articles but they’re mixed in propaganda and you’re better off getting what you want off the net.

I think a good scientist will pretty much add that New Agers can give good advice, but don’t give them any money.

So on with the show. A complete facade, or do I really believe it? Who knows.

#1 Avoid the fucking television set at all costs!

#2 The American public education system – get the fuck out now (unless you want to be a scientist) – get a job and join ILP instead.
