(an imaginary speech that I hope someone gives some day)
"Hello Friends… I am running for president, and I want your vote,
but why should you vote for me and not the other guy?
and here are my answers to that question…
As a democrat, I stand for things that the other party does not stand for…
Ask the Republican party what it stands for, and you will get this,
''The 2020 election was stolen" or ''The deep state hates IQ45"
and a large segment of the GOP/MAGA party is about destroying
the institutions of America… they have called for the destruction of
the IRS, the FBI, the Interior Department, the Department of Energy,
the Education Department, in fact, outside of the Defense Department,
the Republican party want to destroy all other institutions…
and why? In the name of ''freedom"… all in the name of one
conspiracy theory after another after another…
but Ladies and Gentlemen, what about your life?
What about your needs? How are we to feed and cloth
and house and educate our families? How do we meet
our basic biological needs? Ask the GOP/MAGA party
and you will get conspiracy theory after conspiracy theory
after conspiracy theory… but does that, in any way, shape
or form, feed your family or house or cloth or help
educate your children? The GOP/MAGA party is great, if
you believe in conspiracy theories to the exclusion of
your needs, but if your needs are greater than conspiracy
theories, you are shit out of luck with the GOP/MAGA party…
Do the latest insane conspiracy theories help you put food on
the table or send your child to college? Not to long ago,
my car broke down and to fix it, cost me a thousand dollars…
I was lucky enough to have that type of money to fix my car,
but what if, what if I didn’t have that money? I need my car,
how can I fix it without the money necessary to fix it? that is
a daily occurrence in America today… and what answers or solutions
do the GOP/MAGA party offer you? I mean besides the usual conspiracy
theories that don’t get your car fixed? I have heard the GOP/MAGA party offer
up tax breaks…now how in god’s name does a tax break, help me fix
my care today? It doesn’t… it won’t magically produce the 1000 bucks
I need to fix my car…but a year or year and half from now, I will get a
tax break for it… BFD… a tax break, a year from now won’t get my car
fixed today… a conspiracy theory about space lasers causing forest fires
in California, isn’t going to get my car fixed today… or a culture
war issue isn’t going to get my car fixed today… a transvestite using a
bathroom in Ohio isn’t going to get my car fixed in California… so, how
give a fuck if a trans person is using the ‘‘wrong’’ bathroom…
how does that feed us or cloth us or house us or gets the car fixed?
it doesn’t…the GOP/MAGA party uses those issues to hide the fact that
they have no answers for us in terms of meeting our biological needs…
how do we afford the medicine we must have if they are massively
overpriced? that is an issue that needs to be addressed, not the social/culture
warfare stuff that the GOP/MAGA party been hoisting on us for over
40 years… that stuff won’t get your car fixed or food on your table or
help send your kids to college or pay for your overprice medicines…
the culture war issues are meant to distract you from noticing that
the GOP/MAGA party has no answers for you in the day to day kitchen
matters stuff that impact every single one of us…
Kitchen matter stuff is the stuff you talk about around the kitchen
table while trying to get answers to the important questions of,
how do we meet our needs? How are we going to pay for our car
and still met the mortgage? Or how are we going to pay for this medical
bill if we can’t even put food on our table? Kitchen table matters…
and this is why we can’t believe in the GOP/MAGA party because
they only offer us conspiracy theories that do nothing for us
in terms of kitchen table matters…
and now let us connect two particular matters…
for example, the conservative theory is that business is more efficient
than government and that we should, based on efficiency,
we should turn over governmental matters to big business and allow
them to run the schools, or pave the road or take care of
our social security programs…
but here we hit big business fatal flaw, the need for profits…
that need overrides all other considerations for businesses,
and the fact is that we need the government because it
isn’t committed to profits that businesses are…big business only
cares about its bottom line, not about consumers and thus big
business will happily walk away from any obligations to us consumers…
for what is first in the eyes of big business? profits, not the
consumer… there is no reason outside of profits for big business to
even care if consumers are being hurt by any of big business
practices…so, if we eliminate, say the energy department,
who will protect our interests in matters of energy? certainly
not big business, they only care about profits…
this is a major argument for the role of the government in our lives…
the drive to privatize our government means that no one will defend
or protect our rights in any type of dispute…there will be but one voice
and that voice only cares about profits, not us…
and so in terms of kitchen table stuff, we have a government
that protects us from the predatory practices of big business…
or said another way, it is in the wolfs interest to remove
anyone protecting the sheep… and that is what the wolf/big business
is trying to do… remove any protections, so they can go after the sheep,
and in this example, we are the sheep…
but the GOP/MAGA crowd doesn’t say that… they say it is for your freedom
to remove governmental practices… no, it is for the benefit of
big business to remove the government interference into profits…
and this is why I stand with the government… for your own protection from
predatory big business that only care about making profits, not about you…
and some might say, but historically government has been the greater threat
our freedoms than businesses… but that day has passed… it is ancient history…
today the greatest threat to our freedoms come from big business…
think about it…the big lie of business is that it offer you freedoms, choices…
but that isn’t true… what choice do we have when we only have 6 companies
that own 95% of all the media in America? and we have only 6 companies
that produce 95% of our cereals, our cars, our TV sets, the movies we see,
different companies I will grant you, but nevertheless we have roughly
6 companies involved in every economic choice you have… that isn’t really
freedom if a very few companies are involved in your day to day choices?
the threat to the average America comes not from the government, but
from big businesses that owns, has bought the government… we know
that big business, has bought several state and local governments…
Wisconsin for example…and recently Kansas… and the big businesses
that bought Kansas for example, drove Kansas into the ground in search
of profits… for their concern is not the people of that state, but in search
of profits… and they destroyed Kansas, as they are doing in Texas and Florida
right now…
and so I offer you real world solutions to our problems, not conspiracy theories
or predatory business practices…
so, we must return the government to the people, of the people, by the people…
which means we must take money out of the political system, no more legalized
bribery of the politicians…so, citizens united must be repealed…
as it is a direct threat to our very way of life…for money corrupts and lots
of money corrupts even more…we must remove money from the political
process…and thus citizen united must go…
we must remove religion from our political life… to admit religion into
our political life is to prevent one religious’ sect from dictating our political
aspirations…for politics to be effective, we must remove both money
and religion from politics… we cannot have laws dictated by religious
beliefs…for that path is the path to civil war because why can’t
other religions have the same power as the one religious sext?
I came from a large family and if one child is giving a privilege the others
aren’t, that creates conflict within that family…and so, we cannot
create any sort of privileges to any individual, group, social or religious
parties… and we see the result of conflict in America because
we have given privileges to one group and not another…
the privilege I speak of right now is the creation of our
modern two track legal, judicial system we have today…
where we treat the wealthy and powerful by one system
and we treat everyone else by another system…
crimes that would put the common person in jail is allowed
to the wealthy because they can exploit or appeal their
way to delay the system ad nauseum…Look at how many
appeals and delays that IQ45 was able to create to avoid justice to
be served…a privilege not allowed to the poor or middle class…
justice delayed is justice denied…and makes a mockery of
our judicial system…as IQ45 has done over this last year…
appeal after appeal after appeal the littlest thing to delay justice
from being served… justice delayed is justice denied…
and I stand on the sacred grounds of justice…
where we cannot allow to continue this practice of delay by
appeal after appeal after appeal… this is weakens the entire
judicial system… for justice to be effective, it must be carried out
equally to all person under that system… and today it isn’t being
practiced equally… and undermines the legal, judicial system to the
point of ending it…
I will pass legislation that prevents a wealthy person from infinitely
delaying justice by appeal after appeal after appeal…
as I believe that justice and equality are kitchen table matters…
for justice and equality are at the heart of the American experience…
needs that must be met as strongly as the need for food or water or
education…
as I believe that without freedoms, we are denied our human nature…
the GOP/MAGA party is in favor of reducing our collective freedoms…
the party of no, has said no to abortions, no to voting rights, no to having
equal justice, no to an equal and fair educational system, no to the
average person having the same rights as a wealthy person…
and unlike the GOP/MAGA party, I want the political power to reside
in the working and middle class, not in the hands of the wealthy few…
that is what I will do, return power to your hands, not to the favored
wealthy few who own it now…democracy, our democracy works
best when it is in the hands of the majority, not the minority,
as it is now…
kitchen table stuff is really about who has the power and who pays for it…
we don’t have the power but we certainly pay for it… I want to change
that formula into we have the power, and the wealthy pay for it…
the opposite of what we have today…
and I will do everything in my power to take back our power, our rights
and our American dream of being/becoming who we are, not
as others tell us who we can be…
