The essential difference between Judaism and any Christian denomination remains the core Christian belief that Jesus is the Messiah which is not part of Jewish theology.
Bottom line Jesus wasnât a Rabbi as we use the term today. i.e ordained Jewish clergy, the term Rabbi is a Hebrew word that literally means âmy teacherâ , which he was.
The disciples call him teacher elsewhere in the Scriptures.
The desire for such titles and recognition e.g. the chief seats in the synagogues is a sing of pride and hypocrisy, traits Jesus attributed to the scribes and pharisees.
âAnd whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased, and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.â
Therefore the phrase âyou may call me rabbiâ goes against the humility and equality taught, as it implies a self appointed position of superiority.
He wasnât trying to abolish Judaism as he himself was a follower of Judaism, he was a reformist of Judaism and the Pharisees killed him for it perceiving him to be a religious heretic.
[Had the Romans do it but ultimately influenced them into killing him.]
The word Christianity wasnât even a thing until several decades after the alleged crucifixion.
Not to mention also the disagreement between Peter and Paul over the conversion of gentiles, Peter would tell Paul that Jesus himself was against the conversion of gentiles. Was a major religious disagreement at the time, Paul decided to convert the gentiles anyways while Peter protested.
Christianity is nothing more than reformed Judaism.
[Reformed Judaism for the consumption of gentiles and goyim.]

The word 'jew" was only introduced into the English language in the 18th century and that Jesus referred to Himself as a âJudeanâ and not as a âjewâ. Inscribed upon the Cross when He was crucified were the Latin words âIesus Nazarenus Rex Iudeorumâ which means
Jesus of Nazareth ruler of the Judeans, which is a geographical connotation. The word Jew today has a religious as well as a political connotation. You think of a Jewish entity as a government but you also think of their religion incorporated at the same time.
The form of religious worship known as âPharisaismâ in Judea in the time of Jesus was a religious practice based exclusively upon the Talmud. The Talmud in the time of Jesus was the Magna Carta, the Declaration of Independence, the Bill of Rights, all rolled into one, of those who practiced âPharisaismâ. The Talmud today occupies the same relative position with respect to those who profess âJudaismâ.
Jesus fulfilled the law of God perfectly. That was the reason he took on flesh.God accepts Jesusâs atoning sacrifice for the sins of the whole world and Jesusâs sacrifice only.
So itâs the same principle as the ark that God provided for Noah to save him from the flood. If you are not found in Jesus when God finally judges all mankind then you will perish because God cannot look on any sin.
Jesus has to pay for your sins because you cannot pay for them yourselfâŚ.Itâs impossible.
The gospel message is plain and simple to understand you just have to apply it.
God knows every heart.
My interpretation has always been âJewâ is a derogatory reference to Judas Iscariot, betrayer of Christ and therefore, all subsequent Christians.
âJew-ishâ also refers to the greater house and tribe of Judea, which is only one of twelve of the Abrahamic Israelites.
Judaism is the motherâŚchristian is the illegitimate daughter she had with a Hellenized Roman.
Same slave ethics.
Christianity universalized Judaisms victim elitismâŚ.choseness. All could be saved, not only the JewsâŚ.but through a Jew, Jesus.
Christianity is Judaism for European pagans.
You people donât go by the Bible you just write whatever you want. ![]()
You people are of the book, by the book, for the bookâŚ.not one original thought in your heads.
So gullible, because the message is hearteningâŚ..and this is all you need.
Ok but when they force religious rule after a war happens, then what?
Whoâs âtheyâ, and why would force be evidence of truth?
We can âforceâ a man to believe just about anything, in order to cope and surviveâŚ.this is not evidence of anything but human need.
I think force can be truth lol.
You interpret varying frequency electromagnetic energy waves containing binary data emitted from vibrating matter Starfire.
This is a scientific fact.
Does right produce mightâŚ.or does might produce right?
If a powerful man forces his inferiors to believe he is god, is he god, beyond his followers?

I thought I had CCâd you in on my reply.. reposted it, but with you now CCâd in.
.
Double post.. oops
What do we have in common with a Judeo Christian culture?
The only thing that we have is the same Old TestamentâŚ
but one is based on a sacrificial system that is fulfilled in Christ and the other one is waiting for Christ.
So it is not the same.
I have nothing in common with anyone who denies the efficacy of the Atonement in Jesus Christ.
You share an antipathy for nature and her injustices.
You share slave ethics, and the victim identity.
You share messianic drive, and an intolerance for all other dogmas/gods.
You share a vindictive god, expressing your own resentments.
You share an end of times mythology, expressing this resentment.
You share a creation myth.
You share a sense of entitlement, as if you deserve eternity or special status.
The only thing you differ at is that they have merged good/evil into their god, requiring no primordial sin bullshyte, and they still await salvation, whereas you believe youâve already been saved.
Same sacred texts, same slavish spirit, same resentment, same hatred of the world as it is, same shame about the physicalâŚ.shall I go on?
Protestantism, in particular, is closest to JudaismâŚ..you share the same rejection of earthly authoritiesâŚ
God Bless You.![]()
