Women should be able to volunteer for military service of course, and be treated as equal to men if they do, but should absolutely not be required to serve in the military due to this ontological conundrum.
As for selecting values, women select men, not so much the other way around. Men pretend to select their women, but in reality most men would fuck most women if given the chance. Men do some value selecting too when it comes to their choice of women, but this is much more rare and much less significant than how women value-select their men.
Woman controls sexual rights, therefore men construct elaborate social and metaphysical structures allowing themselves indirect control to that right. It’s a balance of power contest for the primacy of who controls access to satisfying and reliable sex, and how and in what conditions.
I don’t think forcibly covering females achieves anything except preventing women from properly value-selecting their males, in which case the balance of power is fundamentally broken. Men must know that they are being weighed and selected by women, otherwise the male power collapses and sex loses its existential dimension, becomes just animals fucking.
