America's problems and possible solutions.

Modern politicans has claim the path into the future requires
us to take past solutions and use them to solve the problems
of America today.

I shall list the current problems facing America and offer up some solutions.

As I see it, the number one problem facing America today is…
Income inequality. The fact that less than 500 people own more wealth
then half the world’s population is scary. We cannot take care of our
multitude of issues if the money we need to solve those issue’s are in the
hand of less than 500 people. The solution then is then simple, we must
take it. The sacrifice of 500 people to save billions should be a no brainer.
We are a majority based society and by allowing so much wealth in the hands
of so few, we put our lives, our civilization, our very planet in danger.
Capitalism is an ideology we can no longer afford. We must have a broad based,
sustainable, ideology and system. Given the number of humans on planet earth,
we must act quickly or face dire consequences. It doesn’t matter if those 500
“EARNED” it because frankly they didn’t earn it. Modern wealth is created by
first of all, inheriting it. Trump for example, inherited 200 million dollars from
his father. Wealth is also created by stealing it from the workers. This is done
by paying the workers less than the work they created. For example,
let us say, I created or worked $10 worth of services or goods. This is stolen
by only paying me, $5, and the difference which is called profit, goes into the
hands of our corporate masters which is why they are worth billions.
Take a corporation of thousands, from each worker you steal hundreds of
dollars of effort and creation. That amounts to billions. The modern system
is based on theft of wages from the workers, pure and simple. you want to end
this theft of wages, (which by the way occurs to each and every one of us who works
in a corporation) you must end capitalism. Any society that has garnered it wealth
and power by stealing it, is not a society worth supporting.

The next step is feedback. We don’t have feedback in America anymore.
Those who can change society do not listen to the feedback
within society. Thus we have the rise of Herr Trump.
The number of people who are discontented within America is huge
and why? Because they don’t have a voice in their lives, their feedback
to the powers to be is ignored and rendered void. If, we the people, have
no voice in our government, in our society, why participate? Why bother?
And here we explained why society is either in revolt, a la trump or
a sanders, but why so much of society has simply given up hope and
no longer votes and no longer participate in American affairs, because
it doesn’t matter. Your voice, your participation will just be ignored anyway
and the power elites will just do what they want anyway, so why bother?

Indeed, why bother if you are poor and will never rise to anything greater
than what you are today, because you cannot because of the system you are in.
The failure of America lies in its system and its inability to adapt to the new world
we live in, and we reach the failure of conservativism. It by its very nature, of
being unable to adapt, threaten society and America. The answer cannot be
in the past because our slavish devotion to the past has created our current
issues.

The third issue is overpopulation. We have too many
people for our current resources, little less future population
which will strain our resources even greater. If we cannot create
a sustainable future, we will not have a future and by its very nature,
capitalism cannot be sustainable because of its emphasis on more and
more and more. We cannot sustain a future with more and more and more
want and greed and useless items like we see today. We must
reduce the rate of population before it is reduce by such dangers
such as our future wars of resources that are coming and by such
dangers as famine and disease that will hit us sooner than later.
We must be proactive or we shall be reactive and by being reactive,
we shall have our choices limited. We must act while we still can act
on the issues that threaten us. Bury your head in the sand but in doing
so, you condemn your children and their children to an ugly and unnecessary future.
Act freely today or be forced to act later with limited choices. Your choice.

Kropotkin

You don’t offer any solution, other than “Act freely”. But what does that mean?

I believe in moderate capitalism. The rich should pay the highest taxes, and the poor should get a higher minimum wage.
The type of system America has is not democracy, nor is it a good model of capitalism, as extremely wealthy companies hold monopolies, and such a system discourages entrepreneurship. Don’t judge a thing by judging a broken model of it.

Democracy, is tyranny of the majority and is fundamentally unjust, but America has an ogliarchy, which is tyranny of the megacorps, which arguably just as injust. We are left at poor choices of presidents, all of the candidates seem to be anti-freedom in one way or the other, Hillary would probably be the worst candidate of call.

You lost me with solutions…

I write for the future and you two are of the past.
I cannot help you.

Kropotkin

Seems like a rip off of my song, Trixie is from the space age and you are in the past.

So, you are in the past, and offer no helpful advice, other than vague “isms”, so begone with you.

The future is a construct. You’re a crackpot.

I wouldn’t label him a crackpot, but a blowhard. He tells us that he gives advice, but it is all puffing steam, and there is no actual tangible advice.

You, are more so a doomsayer, than a blowhard, you simply tell us there is no future at all.

I’ve often considered changing my name on this site to
Cassandra. Just too lazy to do so.

Kropotkin

Great idea. Look up Cassandra Complex while you’re at it.

In old age, men have reduced male hormone levels, and so their sense of self often becomes more feminine and egotistical, as well as lazy.
