An attempt to deport a congressperson

apparently, the DOJ is building a case to attempt to deport
congress person, Ilhan Omar… now given that it is way
beyond illegal, and downright wrong, it sets a really bad
message that anybody who is an American, can be deported…
and she is an American… exactly the same that Melania Trump
is an American… which if Omar can be deported, Melania can
also, and probably should be, deported… .
now this especially applies to be dangerous because Omar
is a sitting member of congress… and this attack is
an attack on America itself… attacking members of congress
is a violation of everything America pretends to stand for…
especially the rule of law…

the alternative viewpoint can be this is an election stunt
meant to rile up people into voting GOP this year… but
that would give the GOP/MAGA far more credit than they
deserve… for evil, great evil is united by one thing and one
thing only, for every great evil person, is the fact that most
of them are stunningly stupid… there are exceptions of course,
but there are exceptions to every single rule in the universe…

If this allowed, that means no one in America is safe from
being deported…think about that…

That’s rich coming from a cheerleader of suing a sitting president.

If her papers aren’t in order, and she actually isn’t a citizen, then you’re right, she shouldn’t be deported. She should be charged with fraud, serve a sentence, and then be deported.

What’s the case, anyway?

I have been refraining from formatting as a quote, because the original message is altered significantly. Ironically, I was trying not to break any rules.

Please confirm, in future, dekrapified paraphrases should be posted as quotes.

Just to be clear, only the formatting is altered, none of the words are changed.

If no confirmation is made, I will assume that, in future, I should post them as quotes.

I made it a quote because when I first read it, I couldn’t tell where his words ended and yours began. This makes it clearer to everyone that none of those are your words.

His formatting is atrocious, a reformatting is a good thing.

I was kind of wondering if any of the rules that Trump is trying to change would have her deported.

…marriage troubles?

So far no one has produced evidence that she lied or misled in her immigration process. The bar is extremely high. This may well just be political grandstanding to mobilize voters. And even if it actually become an actual case, it is not easy to do. You have to have smoking guns.

No, a core idea in the US is equal in the law. Whoever commits a crime can and should be investigated. The US does not do this well, but to rule out going after a member of Congress actually goes against a fundamental US value.

Well, it doesn’t make it any more likely that any non-immigrant citizen would be deported. It could be seen as making it more likely for immigrants citizens to be deported. But again, they would need to find evidence of her lying in the process. If they find that, that doesn’t make it more dangerous for people who did not lie. They’ve been poring over her for years. It seems incredibly unlikely they will find information after all this time.

You really think evil people can’t be smart? Man are they lucky again and again and again.

I kind of wonder if Trump holds people’s citizenship over their heads to get them to do what he wants them to do.

It’s just realism. China and Russia are industrial powerhouses. I do hope he remembers that they have to be approached differently than if they weren’t differing degrees of socialist dictatorship. More China, Russia has done so much to de-socialist-dictatorshipize, it’s really a travesty that more approachement has not happened. The free world has been incentivizing all the wrong things.

With China specially, approach with sword in hand. But approach. It’s impossible not to, they are leaders of industry in several areas.

Hmph. Using the law to persecute political oponents. Not something his opponents would have ever dreamed of doing, eh?

Anybody who is an actual legal citizen has nothing to worry about.

I mean, how odd is it that Kash Patel is sending love from Russia with these happening at the same time:

Wrong-o:

tu quo que escalates with every new administration

I see. So when it’s Trump, it’s evil, but when it’s his fanatic socialist enemies, it’s just an ongoing process that they are forced, despite themselves, to take part in.

Fire shots and cry when lead comes flying back.

Horrendous. You will get no tears from us.

At least Big Man actually does things legally, unlike the complete disdain for law that socialists actually brag about.

Who is us exactly?

Smile! The whole universe is on candid camera!

Us is whoever you might be trying to convince with this whole “it’s political persecution” jive.

Spare us. We’ve seen your true faces.

I’m not on either side of the fence that you’re not even seeing here.

I see. I might be wrong.

What is your opinion on the several lawsuits launched against President Trump during his tenure as president?

“…there oughtta be a law against it!” (says you)

Why can you not decide for yourself what is right (Luke 12:57)? Against such things there is no law (Galatians 5:22-23). (says me)

There are too many … you have to be specific.

Previously on ILP:

You wanna be king of the global archipelago without acknowledging the only true King? Bad things are gonna happen no matter which side of the fence you’re on.

Isn’t she married to an American citizen?
