An imaginary conversation with Christopher Hitchens

It wasn’t by any definition. Like I said, I had Catholic friends, so I’m aware of what that is all about, and it was nothing like that.

From that man who used AI for his ‘source’. Why would I need a ‘source’ anyway? Surely you know she receieved millions in donations. What happened to them?

Do I need to investigate that for you? I bet I come back with an even stronger argument, and then you will be starting to run out. This is stupid, it’s like trying to herd mosquitoes.

Point to any statement I’ve made, and directly dispute it. You won’t.

I rest my case.

It’s resting now. Don’t wake it up.

What kind of ‘evidence’? You think I have access to her fucking bank accounts? Are you saying she didn’t jetset around the world. Are you saying she didn’t get millions in donations? Fuck off.

I asked you for the source to that ^^^, not her bank accounts Victor McStrawman.

She received them. Personally, to fully administer. I would definitely want to see some at least slightly credible evidence of that. Once again, Victor, source.. just want to know where you got the info, this is a common occurrence on the internet, I’m surprised you haven’t encountered it before.

You are ridiculous. Anyone with a brain knows it’s true. There are plenty of photos showing people lying on the ground in horrible conditions. She didn’t live in horrible conditions herself, however. I don’t understand why people defend her like mother tigers defending their cubs. Reminds me of how enraged people get when you criticise McDonalds. People are just weird. I’m sure she will be really grateful to you for defending her honour.

Sources or…

i_dont_believe_you

I’m not. I’m explaining why it’s misguided to purely blame her when the church pulled all the strings. Why don’t you blame the church?

What is ‘The Church’? That’s pretty vague don’t you think? Why not go the whole hog and blame ‘the human race’? Idiot.

The Catholic church, Victor. The Vatican, and everything else all the way down. Is that specific enough for you?

I’m not the idiot who is badly losing all their not so valid arguments though Victor, so maybe you are an even bigger idiot?

I know what you meant. What ‘argument’ have I ‘lost’? Your AI generated one? Whenever someone boasts that they have ‘won’ an argument they lose all credibility. It’s so childish. Where are your ‘valid arguments’? Where’s your evidence?

No, I am disputing points you raised without any credible source of information. It’s not on me to provide sources other than what I’ve already provided at this juncture, because my sources, however disputable you believe them to be, are better than the fuck all sources, which is what you have provided.

It’s not about “evidence” as such, more a source of information. Otherwise I could just say “she saved a child from drowning once, almost died herself in the process..” Bet then you would be all over it. Well, I’m all over your statements, you have fuck all to back them up with apart from “Everyone knows..”.

Shite Vic, pure shite.

You aren’t making any sense. You brought up the hideous Mrs. Twit.

As a gesture of good faith, I’ll point out some holes (not necessarily flaws though..) in my argument.

  1. I have only seen a short clip of Christopher Hitchens talking about his book, I haven’t read the book. It’s possible it might contain credible sources.

Well, that’s all I can think of for now, if you can see any other weak spots, then please let me know.

Christopher opens by saying:

“Objectivity is the search for truth, even if it leads to unwelcome conclusions.”

He was never objective in his puff. Not once. Regarding theology, he was completely incapable of it. I’m not denouncing his intelligence, far from it, but his arguments we so tainted by bias and personal distaste, the they were often a bit, or very, flimsy under scrutiny. And he is fond of outlining history without providing obvious sources, if you dig, it’s only proper and polite to leave a trail. It’s also much more honest..

If what he states is objective and the truth, as he opened by stating, then why is it peppered with unverifiable opinion? These videos aren’t very strong foundations for an argument, the book might fare better.

I need to read the book and get the whole story, cause these videos are not providing a very good argument against mine so far, which is that Mother Teresa was no worse than the masters she served, and to single her out for the Catholic customs and attitudes of the zeitgeist is misguided. The church had full control over the entire process and knew all happenings, of course they did, she was their star footballer.

I’m not saying she was an angel, just that she wasn’t some evil mastermind, was she fuck. She did what she was told. She showed devotion by behaving however she was expected to behave, not by normal people, but by the church and if that involved skimping on drugs, or juggling funds, then the church obviously noticed that, oversaw it, and probably considered it extra pious of her.

It needs dug into much deeper, but mission accepted.
