I honestly find this song funny. Is this a celebration of humanity’s stupidity? Is this perhaps indicative of part of the reason why Dave was such an asshole for so long?

I’ve always loved this song. From one of my favorite albums of the 90s, a decade that I think had a lot of great albums.

I never took it to be a “celebration of humanity’s stupidity” (although God knows how popular that theme always seems to be) but rather just man’s predisposition to conformity and aversion to risk.
