If you mean that, no, i wouldn’t agree. Here’s why. The same final problem has existed throughout the process of history (capitalism), and to any real intellectual, this is obvious. This means that no amount of easiness-of-life should distract or stop the intellectual from identifying and recognizing this permanent problem.
The people you speak of aren’t intellectuals, then, but some kind of gratuitous phantoms that are born and pass away without incident.
