You never heard of dogs?
I’m trying to give him the experience of meeting himself. And he refers to them as dog, singular. So, it would be that I haven’t heard of dog.
Sounds convoluted. I don’t get it.
I don’t get his referring to dogs as dog. As far as me giving him an experience of himself…if you don’t get that it’s ok. It’s mainly aimed at his experience. If he wants to challenge the existence of universals - which is a philosophical position with a long history - I would like to gently show what that entails for communication.
For all that fancy book learning, the result is you pretending not to understand “dog.”
Who here does read books?
Well, isn’t ‘dog’ in the realm of ideas, at best?
I am not sure what you are referring to by ‘here’ ‘read’ and ‘books’. Especially books. Book simply doesn’t exist.
