Armed protesters converge on Mosque in Texas

Fascinating.

I understand the sentiment towards Islam, I find the religion ignorant and archaic, disgusting when practiced to its words, and inherently evil, (whether its “peaceful” or not), but this is ridiculous. If this is allowed, then Muslims are allowed to do the same to Christians who walk into church. It is very ironic that the those so afraid of terrorists have taken steps that make them act more like terrorists, than those who are entering and leaving the mosque.

Thomas Jefferson, in 1821 wrote:
“The bill for establishing religious freedom, the principles of which had, to a certain degree, been enacted before, I had drawn in all the latitude of reason & right. It still met with opposition; but, with some mutilations in the preamble, it was finally passed; and a singular proposition proved that it’s protection of opinion was meant to be universal. Where the preamble declares that coercion is a departure from the plan of the holy author of our religion, an amendment was proposed, by inserting the word “Jesus Christ,” so that it should read “a departure from the plan of Jesus Christ, the holy author of our religion.” The insertion was rejected by a great majority, in proof that they meant to comprehend, within the mantle of it’s protection, the Jew and the Gentile, the Christian and Mahometan, the Hindoo, and infidel of every denomination.”

It seems like some Americans apparently think Christianity is more American than the constitution itself.

Media educates more then informs. Compare a classroom with desks facing a teacher, now think about TV , chairs face it people obediently watch and learn from the TV teacher. It is not really that simple. It started way before TV. We listen to the person addressing us or the written word. We are rarely taught to think, we are taught to accept what is artfully put into our brains.

If this is allowed, then Muslims are allowed to do the same to Christians who walk into church.

Of course they are. There’s more Amendments in our Constitution than the First one, you know. But then you’d have to ask yourself why each group would do this. We know why these guys would protest, armed, outside a Mosque. We know what they’re against, what their point is, and what current events brought them to that point.

If a bunch of Muslims showed up armed to a Christian church in the United States, the math would be 100% different. “Stop the Christinization of the United States” wouldn’t make any sense. There’s not some radical Christian terror group blowing themselves up or murdering people in the streets in Muslim nations. The most likely explanation would be that they just showed up to kill a bunch of Christians, because murdering Christians seems to be the Muslim equivalent to baseball these days.

Yeah I know why they protested outside a mosque while armed. They are filled with hate and fear and took that out on people who didn’t do anything to them, because they are lumping actions of certain people with actions of others under the superficial label of being “Muslim”.

Their actions were dangerous and stupid and deserve zero defense.

You tell those bigots. Throw in a few -phobes and -isms, like “Islamophobe”.

I dream of the day when armed militias roam the streets enforcing right and wrong with gun, stick and boot.

Truly that would be paradise.

Hopefully it will happen in my lifetime. [-o<

This is exactly what Islamic radical groups like IS want and expect. They want that some extremists from other side to push moderate Muslims that much so they would have no option but to surrender to the ideology of IS.

Charlie Habedo served the same purpose some time ago. Now Trump and these demonstrators are doing the same. Such elements force moderate Muslims not to raise voice against groups like IS and Wahhabism within Islam.

The basic idea is to push everyone (especislly muslims) to such a limit where no one cannot remain neutral but has to choose a side for sure.

If you are not with me, you are my enemy. If you are with me, everyone else is your enemy. I will make sure that you caanot remain merely a fence sitter but compel you to join the battle. Simple as that.

Sanjay

You can call them full of hate and fear all you want, at the end of the day all they did was stand there and quietly hold signs for a little while. This makes them 1000x times better than the people they protest.

If the people in that mosque were on the fence with regards to ISIS, then to hell with them anyway. Those people, like any protestors, are on the streets because they think they aren’t being listened to them through the normal channels. Now why do you suppose that is?

Ucc, what if a bunch of people came to your house and started stealing all your valuables? What reaction would you have?

Good point.

If I understand the situation correctly, American neocons who are heavily influenced by the Jews are invading the middle-east because of oil, under the banner of spreading democracy.
Then when the invaded ones retaliate, they are branded terrorists.

Personally, I am on the side of ISIS because the stronger ISIS gets and the more it weakens the Western countries, the stronger they are going to rise after the fall.
My personal wish is that ISIS wipe out as many degenerates as possible. Would be incredibly fun to see a gay parade massacred by ISIS, and the confusion that ensues on whether branding the perpetrators homophobic is Islamophobic.

To hell with the west also, especially US, which does not hesitate for a moment to kill and loot in the such Islamic countries, whose rulers do not fall in the line like Kuwait, UAE and Saudi Arabia.

That is the only reason why a common or moderate Muslim have to be a fence sitter in this bettle. He is not sure whose guilt is more, west or groups like IS!

Invade and bombard Saudi Arabia like Iraq and Syria, and most of the terrorism in the name of Islam would be over within days. But, the west and US do not have guts to do that.

But, one day, that will happen too. That time is not far away. We all will see the west unitedly cornering or attacking these Islamic countries, in one way or other. That will be the beginning of the end of Islamic terrorism. Though, it has been already started indirectly.

Sanjay

Hey, you’re that guy who thought 9/11 was retaliation for a U.S. attack in Afghanistan. Pardon me if I hold exactly zero credence for what you think the U.S. has done in Muslim countries.

Yes, God only knows what ignorant bullshit their heads have been filled with by people who don’t actually have the foggiest idea about the situation, hmmmmm?

Ucc, what if someone came into your yard and started stealing your stuff? Then you came and kicked down their door and took it back and then everyone called you a terrorist?
