Not taken to fragment , so no need to

I sincerely apologize if this sentence has offended anyone in anyway.

Really good advice but how does one go about finding ONE’S SELF?

i suppose one of the ways in which we eventually find ourselves is to first lose our selves.

We always know which is the best road to follow, but we follow only the road that we have become accustomed to.

If that fails try a read by FScott Puck’s ‘The Road Less Traveled’

I read that book…a very good book. It still takes a lot of hard work and Rome wasn’t built in a day. It is the kind of book that you refer back to and back to and back to…

LOL

as all ways

I just noticed - did you LOL because you wrote Puck instead of Peck?

“We must be willing to fail and to appreciate the truth that often "Life is not a problem to be solved, but a mystery to be lived.”
― M. Scott Peck

This kind of goes hand in hand with my favorite Rilke’s quote…

Be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves, like locked rooms and like books that are now written in a very foreign tongue. Do not now seek the answers, which cannot be given you because you would not be able to live them. And the point is, to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps you will then gradually, without noticing it, live along some distant day into the answer.

Rainer Maria Rilke

God, how I love those words.

Luke 18:22 On hearing this, Jesus told him, “You still lack one thing: Sell everything you own and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow Me.”

Imagine, Arc, having to give words up as well, not grudgingly dragged along , tearing of hair , gnashing of teeth, but faithfully following HIM into the underground, and shining a bright lit candle into the darkness below

It’s a semblance of an act of charity for them to receive you

For they do not know what they are doing.

Perhaps because they can’t remember?
